We are jumping for joy around the Kinard home these days! Fall is in the air! That means, it's time to begin our new fall schedule: Mon-music class, Tue-small group/book club, Wed-play group, Thur-mother's together Bible study...
So, in keeping with Bug's busy social calender, we had our first music class of the semester today. I can't even describe how much fun she had! Last year, she was one of the younger babies in her class, and spent the majority of the time clinging to me for dear life. However, today was another story. She's a music class alum! I'm pretty sure her cheeks are going to be sore from all the smiling she did! By the end of the class she was out of my lap and dancing in the middle of the circle of mommies and babies! What a show off!
After our exciting music class, we had to hit up K-Roger for some milk, fruit and goldfish. (Staples here in the Kinard household.) I guess we can call ourselves "regulars" there because everyone know Buggy! The lady at the deli counter always gives her a slice of turkey (even though she usually ends up spitting it out. I can't bear to tell the lady because I can tell it makes her happy to feed our sweet Bug!) The cashier know her and loves to wave "bye-bye" to her, and the Bagger knows that we always leave with a balloon in hand! Today, we decided to opt out of the balloon purchase and our Bagger noticed! He smiled (with all 6 teeth that he had) and said, "Where's that babies balloon?" I told him that we were going to try to make it out of the store without one today, and he said, "Oh no, no! She needs a balloon!" And he proceeded to go to the flower stand and blow up a balloon for her! I guess after buying a boat-load of $3 balloons, we were due for a free one. Either that, or he just couldn't resist Buggy pointing at all the balloons in the checkout line and saying "Ahhhhh!" while he was bagging our groceries! It certainly completed our great morning! On our way out, we added a mum and pumpkin to our basket and Hailey couldn't wait to put them on our porch. For some reason, fall doesn't seem "official" until we have a mum and pumpkin on our porch!
Buggy loves her pumpkin, but she continues to insist that it's a "ball".
Nothing like a nice walk on a fall afternoon.
Bug likes trying to catch the leaves that have begun to fall!
She also thought that it was time for Mommy to get out her "fall/winter" shoes, so she decided to help pull them off the shelf for me!
And she wanted to start a fire since it's starting to get crisp and cool out. (I'm still trying to figure out how she managed to sneak behind the baby gate to get to the "off limits" fire place!)
We're falling in love with this fall weather and wish that it could last forever!
I love fall as much as Little Miss Kroger does. Sure makes playing outside a whole lot better. Good for you for the mum and pumpkin.
