Labor Free Labor Day Weekend

We kicked off this Labor Day weekend with lots of SEC football spirit!  Hailey was yelling "War Eagle" with her Daddy all afternoon!

We did a little "pre-gaming" at the park across the street.  Both Buggy and Daddy needed to release some energy and excitment before the big Auburn game.

(Buggy standing on the state of Florida, wondering where the pool and Buster are!)

On Sunday we spent the day with Granny Nanny at the pool, while Daddy went golfing with Granpa Ben and Uncle Poogie.  (sorry, no pictures of that, I actually forgot my camera! gasp!)
Finally, we had a relaxing Labor Day, doing completely nothing!  Hailey took her Cozy Coupe our for a spin, and we went to visit our man Robert for a little bit.  Otherwise, it was pretty calm...

...until, a Chick-Fil-A commercial came on with LOTS of cows!  In case you can't tell from the pathetic pictures below, Hailey is terrified of cows!  Where this comes from, I don't know, but it's a true cow phobia.  She will freak out if she sees or hears a cow and is even scared of any toy that is black and white!  What is she going to do the next time we go to Illinois to visit my uncle Bud or cousin Heidi on thier farms?  It's going to be ugly!

Buggy soon cheered up when her Pottery Barn Kids bean bag got here (thanks to Lauren and Robert for storing it at thier house while we were gone!)  Since her Daddy taught her how to jump on the bed and dive on pillows, we thought she would like a bean bag.  And so far, it appears that she does!

Aside from the cow freak out, we had a great Labor Day weekend, and are SO excited about fall getting here! I truly believe that there is no place more beautiful than Virginia in the fall! Let the season for football and chilli begin!

  1. Fear of cows too funny...and a little sad, what a sad face! Gianna's afraid of buttons, like on clothes. Not to the point of crying, she just won't wear them or touch them. Kids!
