I blog, mainly because I don't have time to scrapbook or make photo albums. This is my scrapbook and I print it out and put it on our bookshelf for years to come. I've been motivated to keep up with it because I realize how fast these sweet kiddos grow up and I want to remember every bit of it that I possibly can. So at almost 6, almost 4 and 19 months, this is what my crazy three girls are up to...
Hailey (at almost 6)
Hailey is our nature lover. At almost 6, she declares that she is going to be a "Scientist and an artist and a Mommy." She loves getting dirty, she loves figuring out how things work, she loves arts and crafts and of course, she's passionate about frogs and caterpillars and all things tiny and slimy. We're busy planning her Caterpillar themed birthday party right now!
She is so innocent, and sensitive and boy does she feel. She cries when Avery gets in trouble, she'll proclaim, "Mommy, she's just a baby!" She gets upset if I kill a bug, and now I have just resorted to telling her that "the spray Mommy uses on the bug just puts it to sleep for a little bit so Mommy can flush it down the potty."
She's very obedient, and loves making Mommy and Daddy happy. She's also very impressionable and will come home from school saying the craziest things! She's great at every type of art, even singing and dancing, and she's constantly performing around the house for Mommy, Daddy and her sisters.
She's also such a good big sister. She knows just how to calm Avery down if she's fussing, and loves to teach Avery how to be a big girl. She's also great friends with Lainey and will even take the unwanted role as Anna and let Lainey be Elsa when they play Frozen.

| We made a terrarium together and she loves taking care of her plants and watching them grow. |

Lainey (at almost 4)
Oh Lainey. Where do I begin?! She's dramatic, overly sensitive, loud and stubborn! I swear God made her look just like me just so I don't strangle her every day! We tell her she's our "special girl" because she's the only one who has an older sister and a younger sister.
Lulu is very sensitive and somewhat unpredictable. School is almost over, and I still have anxiety every morning, wondering whether or not she is going to cry and cling to me in the carpool line (yesterday!), or bound out of the car with a huge smile on her face (today!). She does not do well with change and prefers everything to be in order. She definitely has my OCD gene and I'm pretty sure I've created a tiny, orderly monster!
She's a fashionista! Hailey never cared what I picked out for her to wear, but with Lainey, there is no picking out at all. She picks out her outfit, down to the underwear and color of her ponytail elastic. Then she changes her outfit at least three more times before the day is through!
We've decided that she is going to be a lawyer when she grows up. She will argue her case to the bitter end, and most of the time she's wrong! But by the end, you either start to question yourself, "Maybe the sky is green?" or you're just so darn exhausted that you cave and let her have her point.
Even with all of her dramatic, high maintenance qualities, she's still our snuggliest, cuddliest child. She often ends up on the floor in our room somewhere by nights end just because she missed Mommy. She's my sidekick. She helps me pick out my clothes and shoes and Avery's dresses and bows, and she won't let me go grocery shopping without her because she likes to help me by putting the items on the belt.
She sure looks up to her big sister, and when Hailey is at school, she will act like Hailey, and say things that Hailey says. She loves being an older sister to Avery and is constantly showing off for her ("Avery look at what I can do!") and trying to teach her new things.
That little girl is exhausting, but she sure has a special place in my heart.

Avery (at 19 months)
Avery Claire. Our fiery red head. She has taken over the "Queen Bee" position in our house in a matter of months. She was our calm, well behaved, great sleeping baby who never cried. And now, she's our rambunctious, feisty, tantrum throwing toddler! She tends to get what she wants, when she wants it. Avery can and will throw a tantrum anywhere. I am now that mother who hides behind food displays while her almost 2 year old kicks, screams and convulses in the shopping cart, while throwing jars of salsa to the ground at the same time, all because she saw a bag of cookies on the shelf that her Mama won't let her have.
Avery is also two going on seven. With two older sisters, she never had any interest in the baby toys in her room. She wants to play with her sisters and impressively is able to keep up with them! She sees the girls playing and she runs right in the middle of them and starts dancing, clapping and twirling around. She gets so excited and it is simply adorable.
She loves bubbles and dancing and can't resist doing her "happy dance" any time music comes on. She will never pass up a game of peek-a-boo and spends most of the day wearing at least one accessory of some sort. Whether is be a single high heel shoe, necklace, or an entire ensemble!

My Three Girls
My girls are each so special in their own, very different, ways. But when they are together, you can tell that they are truly complete. They love each other so much and genuinely enjoy being together. Granted, there is A LOT of bickering in my house, but the giggling, squealing and pitter-pattering of tiny happy feet far outweighs the quarreling. I am blessed beyond measure.
