What's one great perk about living near Williamsburg? Having Busch Gardens and Water Country right up the road! What's another great perk? Having free babysitters to watch Little Red while we take the big girls to the amusement park!
The girls were beyond giddy running around the park with Layla. Erin, Matt, Doug* and I had a blast watching the kids wear themselves out, while sipping on delicious Anheuser Bush beer! The girls rode rides, saw animals, splashed in the water area and ate their body weight in cotton candy. Even cautious little Lulu rode ride after ride! I think their favorite part was watching all of the roller coasters zoom around above their tiny heads. They especially liked watching the passengers go down the big hills screaming! "We do NOT want to ride that ride!" They would say!
Avery stayed with Gigi and Babu and had a big day exploring the woods and getting their undivided attention. All three were zonked out before we hit the highway on the ride home. It was a great day and we're looking forward to many more like it this summer since we all have season passes!
*poor Doug was walking around the whole time with Chicken Pox and didn't know it! He woke up the next day covered in pox! Poor guy.
