Lainey's First Day of Preschool, UVA Game, Fall is Coming!

 

At the risk of soudning like a broken record, this was a very busy week!  Long story short, Lainey had her first day of preschool (she cried, I wasn't surprised).  Hailey continued to love her new preschool class in the Red Room.  I sat through lots of Parent Council meetings as the Red Room Room-Parent.  Doug and I had a great time at the UVA/Penn State game spending time with old friends and my old co-workers. We started our new small group that meets on Thrusday nights with friends from our church and the girls enjoyed running around like donkeys in the basement while we tried to discuss the sermon from this week and Hailey had a fun playdate with her new friend Millie.  Phew!  The weather has been fabulous and I've been in a great mood because this is my favorite time of year, no question!  Now, we're looking forward to a relaxing weekend in Williamsburg, where Doug and I plan to drop the kids off with Gigi and Babu and do some retail therapy at the Outlets followed a nice dinner date.

The weather is absolutely perfect right now!  I brought the stroller out again, but it was MUCH heavier pushing the girls up these Windsor Farms hills this time around!  (60 pounds, uphill is quite the workout!)

Even when we're not outside, the girls will just sit and stare out the doors and windows, soaking up this Fall air!  This is my absolute most favorite time of year!
