Fall is for Football and "No Fingers!!"

It's Fall and our little pumpkins had a pretty low-key week.  The girls had colds, so we spent our time hanging at home and enjoying this beautiful Fall weather.  Doug and I had a blast with our Darden friends at the UVA game on Saturday while the girls stayed at home with Miss Bridget and carved a pumpkin!   The girls are doing great adjusting to our new Fall schedule and to their preschool classes and Hailey is becoming quite the gymnast from all of her gymnastics classes!  And in other BIG news!  Hailey hasn't sucked her fingers for 4 days!!  All it took was some biter nail polish and a sticker chart and so far, she's been doing great!

Very proud of the pumpkin she carved with Miss Bridget.

Double trouble.

Feeling festive!

My lil' punkin' and her lil' punkin'.

Enbracing the Fall weather!

In her post preschool zone.  Dora chair, nuggets, milk and a show.

A sleepy eyed smile before school.

Silly face!

Her princess pose.

Lainey, ready for school!

"Ta da!"

She rocks that leotard like it's nobodys business!

A text message we sent Daddy this week.  Hailey attempted to write her name.

Of course she had to wear her Cinderella dress to Kroger!

My shopping buddies.

Playing at the playground in our neighborhood.

My Richmond Darden Ladies!  Love these girls!

The Darden boys.

Go Hoos!

Lulu was feeling very photogenic after church this afternoon!

Hailey and her "beautiful flowers from Gigi".  She loves helping me water it.

Soaking up the crisp fall air, and watching the leaves fall down.  Hailey is fascinated with the changing seasons!

Playdates, Parks and Princesses on Ice!!!

Our week consisted of preschool for both girls, gymnastics for Bug, Bible study for me, playdates with some old friends-Owen & Ella and Sophie and some new ones too-Maya & Piper, a few trips to Williamsburg to visit with Gigi and Babu and dinner and drinks with good friends.
However, the highlight of our week was by far taking Bug to see her first (and definitely not her last) Disney Princesses on Ice show. She loved it!! She barely spoke the entire time because she was so captivated by the whole production! In fact, the only time she did talk was about 15 minutes into the show. She leaned over to me, with a sad, confused look on her face, and asked me, "You got Wainey, Mommy? Where she be?" It was sweet to know that even though she beats up on her all day long, she still misses her little sister when they're apart.

Enjoying some Mommy time while Bug was in school.

Happy to go walking with Mommy and Daddy in our "new" jogging stroller (BIG thanks to my friend Cindy for securing this awesome stroller for me...for FREE!)

Lulu LOVES jewelry.  She will turn anything into a necklace, bracelet or headband.  Including her spaghetti dinner!

Who knew there were so many ways to eat spaghetti?!

Cookies?  Check.  Milk?  Check.  Jewelry?  Check.  Gigi on babysitting duty?  Check.  She's officially in her "happy place!"
Ready to see some Princesses!

Mommy and Daddy and Princess Hailey.

We had great seats!

Her fingers remained in her mouth the entire time!!  That means she was definitely entertained (and her fingers were stinky by the end of the show!)

Below are a few pictures from the show, posted solely for Hailey's viewing pleasure.  Unless any of my "followers" are Disney Princess super-fans!  If that's the case, enjoy!  Otherwise, scroll down!

Waving "bye bye" to all of the princesses.

I wasn't surprised to see her dressed up in princess gear, pushing a baby Snow White doll around in her shopping cart the next morning!

The Princess fun carried on outside too!  We spent all afternoon drawing Ariels (in mermaid and princess forms) all over the driveway!
