We're Moving! (And Stressed!)

We will have a new address come December 1st.  As if we didn't have enough on our plate already, let's just throw a move on top of everything...in the middle of the holidays...

If I didn't have these two cute faces to keep me busy everyday, my new address would surely be the loony bin!

Bug is almost done with her second round of antibiotics (in less than 3 weeks!) and I'm done with my first (and hopefully last round), so we are officially germ free!  How Lainey has gotten away with only a cough and some questionable boogies is nothing short of a miracle!  Especially now that Lulu has become Bug's favorite "toy!"

Our new house!  Hailey makes us drive by it on a daily basis!  She's very excited.  Fortunately it's only 2 minutes away from our house now.

Since we've spent most of our time at the doctor's office, or dispensing medication, it only seems natural that Buggy feels the need to look in all of her animals ears for "boo boo's" and then give them medicine!  Perhaps all of this time spent at the pediatrician's office will "pay" off, and Bug will want to become a doctor when she grows up!

Our Little Lulu turned 5 months this week (Really?  It's been 5 months?  It feels like it's been one very long week!)  I couldn't dream up a more perfect baby if you asked me to!  She sleeps, eats, smiles and laughs with the best of them and has this Mama's heart wrapped around her little finger!  (and every finger after that one too!)  I love this little chunker!

Miss Buggy had her 2 1/2 year check up today and she put on a great performance for Dr. Nelson.  She told her about all of the leaves that have been falling, that "Im's Hailey, dis Mommy, dis Wainey!" and then proceeded to yell the song "Jesus loves me this I know" in it's entirety (I was very proud of this one and I may or may not have teared up!), while doing donkey kicks and leg raises!  Needless to say, she's perfectly healthy!  Here are her stats:

Weight 27 lbs (25-50th %)
Height 34 1/4 (10-25th %) Fortunately, Lulu is short too.  So I don't feel quite as ridiculous taking my 2 year olds pants to the tailors to get hemmed!
Head (thank God they don't do this measurement anymore!  Or maybe they just didn't want to point out the obvious!)

The weather has been spectacular, and we've been taking advantage of it!  Bug is fascinated with the leaves, their colors and the crunching sound that they make!

Performing her newest trick.  The one legged raise!

"Gwan-ma" sent us a huge box full of fabulous ornaments for our tree this year!  I loved them all, but Bug was more interested in the box and the stuffing!

This has by far been the craziest, most stressful, toughest few months of our lives.  But I know we will look back on this time with only fond memories, and I wouldn't change a thing.

  1. How far from your old place are you moving? I'm so sorry things are so stressful AND that you are sick AND it is holiday time. Does not sound fun at all. We'll pray that things can go smoothly for you
