It's a good thing we were so lazy last week, because we've been nonstop since Monday! Buggy started her "Little Scientists" class this week and of course she loved it! What's there not to love about dinosaurs, sandboxes, paint, play-doh dancing and playgrounds? (and that was just in the first day!) She came home covered in play-doh and was trying to lick it off her shirt the whole ride home!
We also started our Bible study this morning and both girls did great! Lulu has become pretty attached to Mommy, so I spent most of my small group worrying about her. However, when I went to pick her up, she was asleep in the swing! And Buggy loves her "Church pweskool." She made Mommy and picture and told me on the way home, "Mommy. Jesus loves me!"
After naps, we loaded up Pearl and went to Bug's first "Fairytale Ballet" class. There are no pictures of the beginning of class, because for the first 15 minutes we were sitting outside, holding back tears and clinging onto Mommy. However, she finally warmed up to the idea when she saw everyone jumping and walking on their tip-toes! Mommies weren't allowed inside, but we peaked in and saw them playing "Cinderella". Half of the girls took off one ballet slipper and put it in the middle of the room, while the other half pretended to be Prince Charming and save Cinderella. Of course, Bug wanted no part of this, and instead spent the entire 30mintues running in circles around everyone! At least she was having fun and participating in her own special way! While Bug and her friend Caroline were working on their plie and releve skills, I got to sit and chat with Caroline's Mommy and Lainey, Julia and Margaret had a baby playdate.
All smiles before church this morning!
Lulu, trying to "talk" to Mommy with a mouthful of milk!
An "action shot" of Bug and Caroline during Little Scientist's class. Their teacher sent out pictures on the kids during class, but I think Caroline and Hailey are pretty tired of getting their pictures taken (their Mommy's both have blogs!), so they just decided to keep playing and ignore the preschool paparazzi!
Hydrating before Ballet!
Bug and Caroline at their first ballet class!
Much happier now that she knows how much fun ballet is!
Doing some twirls on the way to the car!
Posing with her pumpkin.
Telling her little sister all about her first ballet class. (Lulu was more interested in sucking her thumb.)
Aunt Kelly! I think we're going to have to pencil in a few dance lessons the next time we're in Florida visiting! Buggy is a natural!
