Let the Nesting Begin!

We've been busy spring cleaning the house and yard from top to bottom-Mama's hit the nesting mode in this pregnancy!  And that included remodeling our once fabulous walk-in closet into Hailey's little sister's nursery.  Since Buggy was born three weeks early, just two days after we moved to Richmond, I never had a chance to set up and decorate her nursery (let alone unpack any boxes, clothes, blankets...that entire month is still a big blur to me!)  So I'm super excited about having time to decorate and plan for this new little girl.  I know I still have four months to go, but this is what happens when an O.C.D, A-type, super organized planner gets pregnant and starts "nesting".  I've got my mind set on a project and you'd be smart not to get in my way until it's complete...and perfect!

The new nursery has become Bug's favorite hang out spot.  She likes to shut the door, run around inside and yell really loud in there (because it echoes!).  She calls it her house and makes sure we knock and ask to come in before she grants us passage.  I'm sure it's going to rock her world when we start filling that little room with baby furniture.

It's been rainy the last couple of days, so Bug spent most of her time standing on her step stool, looking outside at the "wata".  She loved lining up her dolls so they could watch too!

In case there was ever any doubt that this is our child...

"Mmmm!  Pickles!"  I like that I have a little buddy to eat pickles and ice cream with!

Yesterday, once the rain clouds moved out, and our cleaning spree was complete, we headed out to Coffee & Cartwheels with our music class friends, Maddie and her Mommy Miss Rebecca.

This morning we hit up the Children's Museum with Robert, Caroline and a few new Mommies and babies from Harris Williams.  The sandbox ans water tables are always a big hit when we visit CMoR, and this trip was no exception.

We finished off this fabulous Friday morning having lunch with Daddy, and now this tired Mama is going to join her napping toddler in bed and wait for Gigi and Babu to come over for dinner.

Have a great weekend!
