And so it begins! Buggy got her first acceptance letter into preschool yesterday! I was warned about how competitive preschools were in Richmond when I was pregnant with Bug, and she's been on the waiting list for this school since she was 6 months old! We're still waiting to hear back from the other schools, but this was our top pick (Reveille Methodist Church Weekday School), and at $2,000+ a year, it better be good! I still can't believe how early people put their kiddos in school around here (as early as 12 months!!) and if we weren't expecting number two this summer, I'd probably wait a little longer, but come September I'm sure I'll be ready to part with Bug for two mornings a week. But I'll probably still cry on her first day!
First comes preschool, and before we know it she'll be graduating from Harvard!
