Here We Go!

I've banned myself from the living room while Doug watches Auburn play in the National Championship.  Mainly because I'm afraid of the wound up, cheerleading, fist pumping person my husband becomes while watching his favorite team of 31 years.  He's currently doing stretching exercises and jumping up and down, decked out in full Auburn gear!  He also informed me that if they win, he will probably cry.  It's worth noting that I've never seen him cry.  Not on our wedding day.  Not after Hailey's birth.  Never.  Here's hoping for a big Auburn win!

Yesterday, on National Championship eve, we settled into our normal routine by heading back to church.  Buggy was very excited to see Robert in the nursery and was even more excited to learn that his Mommy and Daddy were going to be joining the same church as us!  She came home and jumped for joy on her trampoline!

Later, we finally broke out the Play-doh that Grandma and Grandpa Kinard gave her for Christmas, and now she doesn't want to play with anything else!  I'm also happy to say that she's only had a bite of the green and blue play-doh.

During nap time, my pregnancy nesting started to kick into high gear, which means this Mama had to organize!  We're excited to stay in our cozy gingerbread house for another year, and I've been busy going through all of Bug's baby stuff.  The plan so far is to turn our third bedroom, which is currently a fabulous walk in closet/dressing room, into the baby's nursery.  This means, we have a lot of work to do in the next few months, before our new nugget gets here, and before I get so large and in charge that I can barely move.  I'll remind you that Buggy was a month early because we moved 3 weeks before she was born, and I was a crazy woman trying to get the nursery set up.  We'll of course be happy with either sex, but let's just say that if it's a girl, she's going to have one amazing wardrobe!

Bummed out this morning after her last day of baby music class :(

"Hewoh?  Hi.  Badabadaba."

Perking up after I told her that she gets to start Toddler music class in 2 weeks!  Hooray!  New music!  I could do without hearing "Pop Goes the Weasel" again!

She loves her Bee Grandma Kinard!  She'll see it from across the room and yell, "BEE!" and run and jump on it!

"Daddy's coming home for lunch!!  Yipiee!"

After naps today, we had another fun date with Robert.  He's moving this week to another neighborhood and we sure are going to miss having him right up the street from us!

Hugs for Robert.

Jumping together!

Creating a Crayola masterpiece!  Robert liked drawing dump trucks and Bug helped color them in.  This made her very happy because we've just discovered that our pretty little tomgirl loves trucks!  She has what we call truck-turrets, where she'll scream "TUCK!" anytime she sees anything remotely close to a truck!

After some yummy Mary Angela's pizza and some pregame stretching with DaTa, we both retreated to our bedrooms to await the outcome of the big game!

War Eagle!

  1. I'd say she'll have one amazing wardrobe, but you can buy all new with a boy!

I can't believe you have never seen Doug cry.
