Grandparent's Love

This little girl has gotten a lot of lovin' this week!

We spent a week in Florida, ringing in the New Year, visiting Grandma and Grandpa Kinard and her best bud Great Gran Gran and Buggy had their 100%, undivided attention, 24 hours a day, for 7 days.  It's always nice to have an extra pair of helping hands (or three extra pairs!) because Bug can be a lot to handle for this pregnant Mama!  But all that spoiling leads to a few trying days at home getting adjusted to reality!  I just want to apologize to the poor little boy on the plane in front of us coming home because I'm sure his little back is bruised from Hailey kicking him for two hours straight, and to the cashier at my beloved Kroger, for having to listen to a Category 3 meltdown in the checkout line along with having to clean up an entire basket of blueberries that someone decided to pick up off the belt and fling across the store!  Even though I've been so exhausted to even start laundry, and am just getting around to posting pictures of our trip, two days later, her week of spoiling was worth it, because she had a great time.

Lucky little Buggy got to have three Christmases this year!  By the third time around, she was a pro at unwrapping the presents!

Our little bath bunny loves to take baths, wherever she goes!

Helping Grandma and Great Gran Gran bake a cake.  Her favorite part was eating the sprinkles!  (You can get an idea of how much this little girl is loved just by looking at the abundance of Hailey pictures on the fridge!)

Eating some lasagna off of her new Dora plate.

And sampling her yummy cake.

Showing Grandpa how to put the puzzle together.

Riding her new Pillow Pet.

Playing with Sasha and Selah.

Watching Yo Gabba Gabba with the girls (because the Daddies were watching football on the big tv!)

She spent 99% of the time outside because the weather was gorgeous!!  Gran Gran was glad to have a walking buddy.

We went almost an entire week without getting in the pool (because it was ICE cold!)  But by day six, DaTa caved and let her put her feet in the pool.

Which of course led to her stripping down and getting in completely!  Polar Plunge!!!

After a long plane ride (the flights actually went very smoothly, but flying with a highly spirited two year old ain't easy!) we were all happy to be home, in our own beds.  The next morning, Bug spent almost three hours playing in her playroom by herself (I think she was happy to be home with all of her toys) and Mommy may or may not have accidentally fallen asleep in the living room for 15 minutes during that time!

And of course a week without Buggy is like an eternity for Granny Nanny and Grandpa Ben, so they had to come over as soon as we got home!  Bug greeted them with lots of hugs, and spent the rest of the night being Grandpa Ben's best friend/partner in crime!

Hugs for GiGi.

Hugs for Babu.

And hugs for Dora!

It sure is good to be loved by so many fabulous Grandparents!
