Whooooo's Cute?!

Bug was excited to get back to the church nursery this morning.  It's been awhile since she's gone to church with us since Granny Nanny has been on duty for the past few Sundays, so we prepared ourselves for a major meltdown during drop-off this morning.  But instead , the cute little teenage girl in the "Little Doves" nursery was greeted with a sweet "Hi" and "Ooooh trucks and oooooh crayons!" from Miss Buggy.  I did have to warn her of Hailey's appetite for the purple crayons.

Bug saved her major meltdown for when we got home from church (and after we hit up the McDonald's drive thru on the way home!  Sorry to everyone around me in church this morning who had to try to hear the sermon over my loud, growling, pregnant tummy!)  I guess all the excitement of Gigi and Babu's house yesterday caught up with her (aka.  loud barking puppies, running around like a wild donkey, no nap, and a 9:30pm bedtime) .

Feeling more refreshed after a nice long nap!

Looking a litte confused...Mommy must have been making some pretty crazy faces and noises in a desperate attempt to get some smiles out of her!

She's definitly our daughter!  Mmmmm pickles!

Lovin' on her baby.  She gives the baby in Mommy's belly lots of kisses now too!

Whooooo's the cutest little girl in her owl dress?

Well it's Miss Buggy, of course!

Trunk Show

Today was our Shrimp and Grits Kids trunk show and Buggy made out like a bandit!  Her Grandma's made sure she got a super cute wardrobe for the summer, and along with all those clothes, we also scored over $150 of free loot!  Not only were the clothes adorable, but I also got to spend the morning with Maddie's mommy (Hailey's friend from music class) and all of our friends stopped by to shop and play in the playroom.  My house looked like a daycare for the majority of the day, and Buggy LOVED every minute of it!

Helping Mommy and Rebecca set up for the show.

Just a tiny glimpse of the mounds of clothes we had!  (Not sure what we're watching on TV!)

Sharing a cookie with Caroline.

Since I was too busy scraping the crusted milk and syrup off of my 1980's coffee table for the show this morning, I didn't have time to post pictures of our trip to Robert's new house yesterday!  We're glad that he didn't move very far away, and Hailey loves his car room (and him :)

Drawing dump trucks and helping Little Man color them in.

I think they make a cute couple!

How she managed to find yet another crayon and eat it while two mommies were sitting nearby is beyond me, but it does appear that the purple ones are more tasty!

Inspecting her chewed up crayon with Robert.

We couldn't have asked for a better week, full of friends, new clothes and yummy purple crayons.  Now it's time to kick off the weekend with a trip to Gigi and Babu's house in the morning!  Happy weekend!

Social Butterfly

Hailey's made even more new friends this week!

Last night we got to play with Claire and her new baby brother Austin.  Hailey and Claire bonded over their love of Dora the Explorer and spent most of the night watching TV while I got to chat with her super cool Mommy.  Claire's uncle is the punter for the Steelers which means they get to go to the Super Bowl and we're all very jealous!

Then, this morning, our new friends from church, Madeline and Clarke came over to play along with her best girlfriend Caroline.  I think Bug developed a little crush on Clarke!

Then it was time for Daddy to come home for lunch!

We had plans to go play with Caroline B this evening, but since it's snowing, and we're all pretty exhausted from all this socializing, I think we're going to spend the rest of the afternoon in our jammies snuggling!

Yay For New Friends!

We are jumping for joy today because we've had an awesome morning with new friends!  We spent the morning at the Children's Museum playing with some of her friends from her music class, and I'm so tickled because their mommies are amazing!

We're fascinated with sliding.  Bug turns anything and everything into a slide, so of course the first thing we had to do when we got there was go down all of the slides in the museum.

Playing in the sandbox with Maddie, Quinn and Jack.  Not sure why they all look terribly confused?!  Hailey was probably embarrassed that I brought the dreaded camera on our first playdate with her new friends, and the other three are probably wondering who the crazy lady is with the camera!

Craft time!

Playing with our latest find from the Target $1 bins.  Her new "Boo Cow".

She had so much fun coloring at the museum that we decided to continue the fun at home while we were waiting for Daddy to come home for lunch.
*note the purple crayon in her hand.  Now you see it...

...And now you don't!  Must have been pretty tasty because she gobbled most of it down!  Darn Facebook!  Serves Mama right for leaving a 2 year old alone for 5 minutes with a crayon!  Lesson learned!  That should make for an interesting diaper in the morning!!

Hugs for Daddy and Mommy because she knew she would get in trouble for being naughty and eating one of her crayons!

It sure is hard to stay mad at a face as sweet as this one!

Time for naps and then we're off to play with our friend Caroline B and two more new friends, Claire and Austin, at their house!  How is it that my two year old has so many more friends than me?!

First Haircut

It was a busy Monday morning for my busy little Bug.  After waking up with the worst bedhead I've ever seen, I decided that it was time for some "hairapy".  We headed to Pigtails and Crewcuts first thing this morning to get Buggy's hair trimmed.  I wasn't surprised when her initial reaction to the chair was to scream and cry.  Despite the pitiful expressions she gave me while I was taking her picture, she didn't think the experience was too traumatizing, and she thoroughly enjoyed the sucker and car fancy police car chair (not to mention the fact that there were TVs everywhere you looked and toys galore to play with.  Next time it rains, I know where we're going to play!

Glad to have her haircut over with so she can play with all the train sets!

After her first haircut (I saved some of her baby hair for her baby book...is that weird?) we headed to our first Toddler music class.  Not only was it sad to see my baby girl get her first haircut, now I had to accept the fact that she's graduated from baby music class and is officially a toddler!  (She's sitting next to her favorite music class buddy Maddie and her lovely Mommy!)

Waiting her turn to get some sticks to play with from her teacher Mrs. Ashley (in the blue shirt).

She loves her new finger cymbals she got in class today!  Ear plugs please!?

She couldn't wait to show DaTa her new haircut when he came home for lunch today!  He loved it, but then we both got a little sad because she looks so grown up.

Doing her "business" in private.  She's still too shy to poo-poo anywhere but at her own house!

Playing her favorite game of Where's Hailey?
"Have you seen Hailey?"

"There she is!"

What a busy morning!  Now it's time for both of us to take a nice long nap!
T.G.I.M!  (Have I mentioned how much I love Mondays now?!)
