The Big 2-9!

By far the best birthday I've had to date!  My hubbie surprised me with Miranda Lambert Concert tickets for the end of this month, and Dane Cook tickets for next month, not to mention the weekend getaway he planned for us at The Homestead (fancy dinner and massages included!)  Daddy and Buggy made me sweet birthday cards and Mom and Dad Kinard sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and balloons!

Buggy and I spent my birthday morning walking around Short Pump Mall and playing at the Children's Museum!  We topped off our morning with a trip to Chick-Fil-A and met Daddy at home for lunch. 

While Bug was napping off her nuggets and waffle fries, the florist stopped by to deliver my lovely flowers.  I must admit, I didn't answer the door at first because I thought he as a Jehovah Witness.  I saw him walking the flowers and balloons over to drop them off at our neighbors and I quickly raced down to claim them!  As he handed me my flowers he said, "It isn't everyday a lovely lady turns 18!" 

We ended the day with dinner at Bottom's Up Pizza with six of our friends and their baby girls.  And just to make things a little more memorable, Pearl ended up getting towed, and we got to take an adventure into the ghetto of Richmond to retrieve her.  Hailey found the entire trip very exciting! 

It was a fantastic 29th birthday and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with my hubbie.  (and Buggy is looking forward to a weekend of spoiling from Granny Nanny!)  What a great way to start this final year in my twenties!
