After music class on Monday, I told Buggy that we were going to go to Maymont, and she couldn't hide her excitement!
We were supposed to meet some friends of ours at the petting zoo there, but as luck would have it, the petting zoo is closed on Friday. So Bug and I decided to check out what else this magnificent Richmond gem had to offer. After 3 hours running around there, we only covered half of this beautiful place. We will have to go back and tour the beautiful Maymont Mansion, and of course, the petting zoo! The gardens and trails were amazing, but I think Buggy's favorite part of the trip was feeding the geese and ducks.
Already planning or next trip! I can't believe this beautiful place is only five minutes from our house! Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE where we live?!
