Magnificent Monday Morning

As a working girl, I used to dread Mondays like the plague and would often get the "Sunday Night Blues" the night before.  But now that I'm a Domestic Engineer, I actually look forward to Mondays!  There is something refreshing about a Monday morning!  On this particular Monday morning, we started it off like we do every other morning.  Hailey wakes up at 7:15am (you could set a clock to her sleep schedule!  Shout out to "Babywise!") and she was rockin some serious bedhead!   

 I should also note that today was the first morning in TWO weeks that we haven't woken up to explosive diarrhea!  I never thought I would be excited to change a poopy diaper, but when it's in solid form, instead of liquid, and doesn't involve changing the sheets, Hailey's jammies, and scraping the poo from under her fingernails, it's a good day!

Then, after she has her milk and bowl of banana oatmeal, we play in the playroom and sing to our toys.

If Daddy's not up yet, we try to make a lot of noise so he comes downstairs to play with us too!  Sometimes, it takes him a little while to wake up and get in "the playing mood!"

After Daddy goes to work on Monday mornings, Buggy and I are off to music class!  (She LOVES music class!)

I thought she was looking particularly cute this morning, so I wanted to take some pictures of her (who and I kidding? I take pictures of her pretty much every morning!) 

I tried to take her favorite book away, just for a minute, to get a cute picture of my sweet baby...

...but she was not having that!

Then her favorite buddy (and Mommy's favorite buddy) Robert and Lauren came over to go for a walk, and that put her in a much better mood!  Little Robert always smiles so nicely for my pictures.  Hailey is pretty much over the whole picture taking thing!  Or she's totally embarrassed that I brought my huge Nikon D60 with us on our walk, and pretty much everywhere else that we go!  Little does she know, it's only going to get worse the older she gets!  I can't wait until she can do cheerleading!  Not only will I bring my camera (and possibly the video camera and tripod), but I'll also be cheering loudly from the stands!  If you know me at all, you know that I will whip out my "Spirit Fingers" on any occasion!

After our busy, but Magnificent, Monday morning, Buggy was tuckered out and went straight down for an afternoon nap.  And I'm begining to wonder why I'm sitting here blogging, and not taking a nap with her!  Time for a siesta!  (Just another one of the perks of being a Domestic Engineer!)
