Goodbye Early Morning Carpools, Hello Summer Vacation!

The end of the school year is a crazy time for us!  Throw a pregnancy and a bathroom renovation in the mix and it's been pure chaos for the past month!  Needless to say, we are beyond excited for 13 weeks of lazy!  Hello Summer!

Hailey and her classmates were so cute leading chapel for the lower school. They were the Peace Train and talked about peace and kindness.   

Lainey was very proud of her big sister!  She had  a lot of lines to remember!

Hailey's Last Day of Kindergarten

Best.  Teacher.  Ever!  You better believe we are going to make sure Lainey gets the same amazing kindergarten teacher!  

Hailey spent night after night making Miss Hargis  a special goodbye goody bag.  Some of my favorite touches were the personal cell phone and the list of summer invise (advice) which included "Don't climb trees, go to Target, have fun and be yourself!"

Lainey's Birthday Celebration at School

We celebrated Lainey's 5th birthday with her Green Room friends a little early since her actual birthday is over the summer.  Avery and I brought in donuts and read a birthday book to her class to celebrate our big soon to be 5 year old!

St. Stephen's Spirit Night

The girls had a blast at Spirit Night.  They bounced for hours, stuffed their faces with treats and Hailey was star struck by Jonathan the Juggler and his amazing tricks.  When she watched him turn someone into a fluffy white bunny, I think her jaw hit the floor!  

Now she wants to be a magician AND bring home the bunny!

It's sad to think that after 4 years together at St. Stephen's, this will be Lainey and Alexa's last spirit night.

Lainey was feeling a little shy during one of her soccer games because her two best buddies weren't there that day.  So Hailey decided to step up and play too (Crocs, big hair bow and all!) so her team wouldn't have to forfeit!  

Right away, Hailey had the Giants in a team huddle going over plays.  The coach called her the MVP of the day.

Bathroom Renovation Has Begun!

I'm counting down the weeks (6 to be exact) until I get to soak my pregnant belly in my beautiful new bathtub, while eating bon bons and chocolate covered strawberries of course!

First Trip to the Pool This Summer!

Supervising three small children at the pool, while pregnant, is no easy task!  Especially when each of them want to be in different areas the entire time!  I spent the whole afternoon constantly counting little people.  Fortunately, no one drowned, so I'd call that a successful pool trip!
