Disney 2015

We had a magical time with our tiny mouseketeers in the Magic Kingdom.  It was Lainey's first visit and Hailey's second visit to the happiest place on earth.  After this trip, I think it's safe to say that we have the happiest 4 and 6 year olds on earth!

Ready for some Disney magic!

We're Here!!

Exploring Our Hotel

Mouse ear treats!

First glimpse of Cinderella's Castle.

Our beautiful resort, the Grand Floridian.

We made sure to make this little princess feel special during her first Disney visit.

Movie on the beach before the fireworks.

Unfortunately, Lulu couldn't hang long enough to see the fireworks and light parade from our hotel the first night.

Lainey's First Visit to the Magic Kingdom

Early morning monorail ride into the park.

Waving to Mickey and his friends before they open the gates.

We ran!!! to Fairytale Hall to be the first in line to meet Elsa and Anna!  The girls loved looking at the pictures of all of the princesses while we were waiting to meet Elsa and thought it was very cool that they got to see Cinderella's glass slippers on display.

Since Elsa was the very first queen encounter Lainey had, she was feeling a little shy, so Mommy had to  awkwardly hold her during the picture.  It didn't help that Elsa was a cold, somber Ice Princess.

Fortunately, Anna was very cheerful and outgoing so Lainey warmed up to her quickly.

Anna loved the girls' hugs and called this one a "sister sandwich!"

This little Anna admirer was on cloud nine for the rest of the morning.  It was a great way to start off our princess packed day!

We all had fun on Dumbo!

And the teacups were a big  hit too!

Princess Ariel will always hold a special place in Hailey Grace's heart.

The girls were excited when they were chosen to play Chip and Mrs. Potts in the play for Princess Belle.

Daddy was happy that Lainey shared his same enthusiasm for It's a Small World.  (Meanwhile, Hailey and Mommy were rolling our eyes and counting down the long minutes until it was over)

They were in awe of Cinderella's castle.

Lainey had some trepidation on The Little Mermaid ride the first time, but ended up loving it and it was the only ride we rode twice!

Excited to watch the Country Bear Jamboree with Daddy!

Ice cream sandwiches taste better at Disney World!

Lulu loved watching the castle performances from Daddy's shoulders.

By this point in the day, they were princess meeting professionals.

Posing in front of the big Christmas tree on our way back to the hotel for a rest.

Boatride back to our hotel.

Smile on our balcony before a quick rest in our room.

Getting boutique beautiful for the second half our our day.

Hailey helped put the magic pixie dust on Lainey's updo.

Boutique beautiful beauties.

Ready to meet Cinderella and her crew at a character dinner.

Lainey decided that she wanted Mommy to hold her in the picture with Prince Charming.

The girls loved Anastasia.  They thought she was very funny.

Glammed up and headed back to the Magic Kingdom on the monorail.

We tried all day long to find Aurora, Lainey's favorite princess.  We all cried tears of joy when little Lulu FINALLY got to meet her favorite princess.

This photo is worth every penny spent on our vacation.

Jumps of pure joy after Lulu met her favorite princess.

We had fun dancing during one of the many parades.

The castle is even more magical at night.

Fun on the carousel.

The girls loved watching Elsa "freeze" the castle before the fireworks.

It wasn't easy keeping these two up for the fireworks...

Lainey made it through most of the show.

Hailey didn't last much longer.

We did Disney hard and had two very tired princesses by days end.

Staring at the Magic Kingdom longingly the next morning.

Next day Bibbidi Boppity Boutique Hair.  I've lathered, rinsed and repeated...multiple times...and I'm still working on getting "pixie dust" out of their heads!

They loved the Christmas decorations at our hotel.

Final Character breakfast with Pooh and his friends.  (Lainey insisted that Mommy or Daddy hold her in any photo that didn't involve a girl)

Big hugs for Tigger.

They were very happy to meet Alice.

The Mad Hatter was super silly.

Mary Poppins was very polite.

Time for these tiny princesses to pack up their princess suitcases and head home.

This little girl had a very magical time!

  1. Love it!!! Looks like you had a great time there. I'll have to show Lillian the photos because I know she will love seeing them. And what, no matching outfits on the final morning?? :)
