Halloween/Late October

We've been enjoying all things fall and had our best Halloween yet!  Now let's get this Turkey holiday over with and bring on some Christmas cheer!

 Halloween 2015

The Kinard crew ready for some Trick or Treating!

The cutest bat, pumpkin and witch I've ever seen!

Avery helped me coordinate my outfit with hers.

Headed to the neighborhood block party for some Halloween night festivities!

Our tiniest trick or treater.

Scarfing down some pizza in the cul-de-sac.

The girls were so happy to have Kaitlyn come along with us!

The girls wanted our first stop to be Bridget's house!

Happy to finally be up close to some spooky decorations they've been pointing out in a neighbors yard for a month!

Last stop for the night.  Time to visit our house to see how Grandma, Gigi and Babu are holding up!

Halloween night candy comas!!!

Trick or Treating at Daddy's Work
The girls always look forward to trick or treating at Harris Williams!  They love visiting Daddy, decorating their own treat bags, playing games and scoring tons of candy!

The girls sifted through each basket carefully picking out Mommy's favorite candies!  I've trained them well.

Once she figured out how this whole trick or treating thing worked, Avery meant business!  She would not stop until she hit every bucket!

Dress-Up Week at Ballet

Dress-up week is the best week at ballet!  Hailey was super excited about wearing her bat cosutume and flying around like a bat during class.  Lainey decided that she wanted to wear her recital costume instead of her witch costume and had lots of fun playing Goblins and Fairies at the end of class with Grandma!

Spooky Playdates!

Costume playdate with Layla!

Halloween candy tastes better in the buff!

Decorating pumpkin cookies with Layla.

Spooky sticker faces with Kaitlyn.

Halloween dance party with Hailey's JK/K buddy Bella!

Carving Our Pumpkin

We had big fun carving our pumpkin! Of course it had to be a happy Jack-o-lantern ("Jackie") and obviously it had a huge bow!

No surprise here that Hailey was the only volunteer to help me clean out the pumpkin!

Boo'ing Neighbors

One of the most exciting things about Halloween is waiting to see when someone will "Boo" us and then figuring out who it was!  Hailey felt very sneaky passing on the Boo to our neighborhood friends Millie and Kaitlyn!

Fall Fun at School!

We love festive clothes at our house!

Our Soccer Shots sweetie!

Hailey has been loving her Science Enrichment class one afternoon a week.  She loves looking in microscopes, getting dirty and learning all things science.  She made a fall headband from her own fall collections and this week she grew crystals!

Avery has been enjoying her mornings at the YMCA with Mommy.  She especially loves craft day!

Both girls are still tumbling and flipping their hearts out at gymnastics!

Lainey was so happy to have Grandma and Mommy come to her school and be library readers for the morning!

She stayed in there with her buddies from the minute we opened the doors until the second we closed them!

The playground at St. Stephen's is filled with beautiful signs of Fall!

The slide is much more fun when the weather is absolutely gorgeous!

Hailey loved going back to her old preschool on Applesauce making day.  Her school was closed for the day so she came to help Mommy volunteer with applesauce making in the Green Room!

St. Catherine's kindergarten girls wearing pink for "Pink Out" day to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Miss Hargis' class had a blast exploring on their class field trip to St. Catherine's Goodchland Fields.

Halloween fun in Miss Hargis' class!  Hailey especially loved helping scoop out the class pumpkin and also had fun making pumpkin muffins with her class!

Class Halloween party!

Hailey loves school and loves learning and we love that!

Miss Hargis' class tested their class hypothesis that their pumpkin would sink when they dropped it in the school's swimming pool.

Our little scientist could not believe that the heavy pumpkin floated!

Innovation Day.

Fun in the leaves at recess!

Well, there's always next year...and the year after that, and the year after that...

It was fun cheering on our Cubbies this season while it lasted, but sadly, this was not our year...again.

Rambunctious Red!

Avery is so stinkin' cute right now!!  She is full of spirit, personality and spunk and we can't seem to get enough of her!

Puddle jumping on a rainy day.

She wanted all of her purses to watch her (pretend to) go potty.

Someone is grounded from the dot dot paints for awhile!

I could eat her up!!  Such a ham!

Avery and Lulu

Avery and Lulu are getting closer by the day.  They have lots of time in the mornings and after preschool to play and I have enjoyed watching their relationship grow.

Leaves, leaves everywhere!

Fall in Virginia means beautiful leaves on the trees and fun piles of leaves on the ground!

Three baby birds in their nest.

Making their bird nest.

Avery loves playing in the leaves!

Lulu would rather not get dirty playing in leaves and instead prefers looking at them on the trees.

We had fun on our after school walk through U of R to see the leaves and feed the duckies!

Avery really enjoyed feeding the ducks.

My favorite season with my favorite girls.  Doesn't get much better than this!
