First Great Wolf Lodge Vacation 2014

 Our tiny wolf pack had a howling good time on our first family vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge!  We dropped out tiniest wolf off at Gigi and Babu's house for the weekend and took the big girls to the Lodge to celebrate Mommy's 33rd birthday.  The girls loved our room because they had their very own log cabin inside our suite with "junk beds" (bunk beds) in it!  The water park was incredible.  We couldn't believe that Lainey turned out to be our tiny daredevil!  She went down every water slide that she could!  (And she was not happy that she was too short to ride the biggest slide in the park!)  Hailey loved the wave pool the most and would have spent the entire weekend in it if we let her.  Mommy and Daddy even got to go down some slides together while the girls waited for us at the bottom!  When we weren't splashing in the water park, we were busy bowling, playing mini golf, doing arts and crafts or playing in the arcade.  One of the girls favorite parts of the stay was the dance party they had in the lobby after dinner.  Those two gave it their all, and busted out some moves that I didn't even know they had!  They left it all out on the dance floor night after night.  They made tons of friends and danced the night away with them.  They also loved the clock tower show where the animals and forest came to life and storytime with the characters.  The girls favorite character was Violet the Wolf because she wore crocs just like them (but hers were much bigger!)  Hailey told us that she wished we could stay there for one hundred days and Lainey has been singing the Great Wolf theme song all weekend!  I think we're going to have to go back very soon.  Maybe next time we can bring our whole pack of wolves with us!

There was a giant bucket of water that dumped every five minutes.  The girls were fascinated with it!  Daddy and Mommy took turns standing under it and the girls thought it was so funny!

So we just let them do their own thing...

But we still had fun!
