Happy Halloween 2014

We had a great Halloween week!  The girls had lots of fun Trick-or-Treating with Layla, Matt, Erin and Mommy and our neighbors (Gigi and Grandma were both home to help hand out candy and Daddy had to stay home because of an ankle injury).   Lainey had fun during her class party in the Red Room and Hailey had fun making Halloween masks in JK,  Lainey got to wear her costume to gymnastics and Hailey had a great time at Trunk or Treat with her friend Maddie and the girls loaded up on candy at Daddy's office party.  It was a great Halloween week and we're ready for some good dental hygiene and some candy detox!  Happy Halloween!

Pre-Trick-or-Treating Camera Dumping!

Things have been even more chaotic than usual around here.  Must be the Pre-Trick-or-Treating excitement mixed with pounds and pounds of Halloween candy we've been munching on in the house!  We had to do some Pre-Trick-or-Treating camera dumping before the big night arrives and our sweet baked goods hit the streets for some tricks and TREATS!

It ain't Halloween without Halloween jammies!

My three pumpkins.

Tiny pumpkin.

Decorating a haunted house.

Decorating pumpkins. (I want to note Lainey's lack of clothes in this picture.  The minute her tiny feet walk through the door, this little girl strips down to her undies (if we're lucky...)  Spend a day in our house, and you will notice that Lulu spends 75% of it naked!)

We've been reading lots of Halloween books!

It was costume day at dance class.  Bet you've never seen a tap dancing donut before!

Or a cupcake ballerina!

The girls had fun at Millie's Halloween themed birthday party!

Decorating treat bags.

Halloween themed obstacle course!

Pumpkin bowling!

Halloween crafts and cookie decorating at our neighbors house!

Painting pumpkins in the Red Room.

Hailey's school began late one day this week, so she got to be a "big helper" in the Red Room with Lainey!  They were both beaming from ear to ear!

Festive outfits for the doctors office!

Lulu loves to put on "Gigi's glasses" at CVS and run up and down the aisles pretending she's going down a BIG hill!  Clearly the prescription is a little too strong for her!  At least she's entertaining to the people waiting in line for their prescriptions!

Hailey went "Trunk or Treating" with her best friend Maddie and was very proud of all of the candy she scored!

Avery was more than happy to do a taste test of her big sisters candy.

Mommy and Daddy date night on a beautiful fall evening!

Hailey's class took a trip to "The Forest" last week and she had so much fun exploring the woods with her friends.  This was also her first time on a school bus!  It was a very exciting day.

St. Catherine's JK explorers!

Lainey's class took a trip to the fire station.  Mommy wasn't supposed to come along, but since someone was having Fireman anxiety, I ended up spending my "free" morning taking a trip to the Maple Ave. fire station.

She was so excited to have Mommy come along!

Lulu also got to have a playdate with her best friend Alexa!

Fall means it's time for our dental checkups!

Gigi surprised the girls with Elsa and Anna braids for having such great check ups!

Fall also means that it's time for Uncle Poogie's birthday!  We took him out for some birthday brews and them celebrated at his house with a birthday cake.

The girls were very excited to help Uncle Poogie eat his birthday cake.

He also had some help blowing out the candles!

Lulu REALLY wanted to try that frosting!

An orange and blue Bears cake!

Clearly, I need to get Poogie some child size glasses, since the only small glasses he had were shot glasses (he had plenty of those!)

Please don't report me to Child Protective Services...

The best part about Uncle Poogie's house is the drum set!!

Ready for a morning walk with my two littlest girls.

Sweet Hailey Grace, smiling before school.

Lulu and Avery have fun playing while Sissy is at school!
Lulu is such a good big sister.

Avery Claire has certainly become one SPUNKY baby!  She keeps me on my toes, and running around the house, and up and down the stairs, and up and down off of furniture, and in and out of rooms...She tries her hardest to keep up with her big sisters and desperately wants to skip the whole "baby phase" and turn right into a big girl!  She has no fear, as is clearly proven by the amount of bumps and bruises this little girl acquires on a daily basis!

She also loves reading to herself.

And she LOOOOVES her babies!

She loves her one day of preschool.  Her teachers tell me that she is the happiest baby in the class!  But once I pick her up, she is done for.  She takes a coma-like nap that begins the minute I strap her into her car seat and start the engine!

Hailey is still all about frogs.  She has checked out a frog book from the school library every week since school started!

The girls are still inseparable once Hailey gets home from school in the afternoons.  I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder!

It's the Hailey show.  All the time.  Poor little Lulu.

My three bathing beauties!
