We spent our holiday weekend in Colonial Williamsburg. It doesn't get much more American than that! The girls spent the day playing outside at Gigi and Babu's house because the weather was GORGEOUS! Mommy and Daddy went on a lunch date that may or may not have involved multiple red margaritas!, and then we took the big girls to Colonial Williamsburg to see a spectacular fireworks display while Avery enjoyed some extra snuggle time with Gigi at home. After such a late night, we spent the following day laying around Gigi and Babu's house, watching our sweet girls laugh, play and love life.
Happy Birthday America the beautiful. God shed his grace on thee.

| We love America! |
| Avery decided to show her Fourth of July spirit with lots of patty-cake. |
| If American flags don't get you crawling, I don't know what will! |
| "Go Avery, Go! USA! USA! |

| Parading to Poogie's house. |
| Lulu decided to play us a 4th of July drum solo. |
| The girls love Uncle Poogie's house! |
| Next we came back to Gigi's for some swinging and festive red, white and blue cookies. |
| Daddy's American girls. |

| The girls had fun playing in the water table with Babu. |
| Daddy and Mommy went on a lunch date and left Gigi with the grandgirls for a few hours. |

| Icecream at Baskin Robins before the fireworks. |
| The girls loved visiting the horses at CW. |
| We had great seats! |
| The girls had fun with glow sticks and bubbles while we waited for it to get dark. |

| Dancing to the Fife and Drums and the Virginia Symphony. |
| It's almost dark enough!.... |
| Lulu was in awe... |
| Hailey was ecstatic! |
| The fireworks were very impressive, as they should be in the birthplace of America! They even had a reading of the Declaration of Independence beforehand! |
| These firecrackers eventually lost their spark and zonked out hard in the car before we even made it out of the parking garage! |
| In their jammies, with some serious bedhead. Ready for a lazy day at Gigi and Babu's. |
| The girls had a blast pretending to camp in Babu's tent! |
| They even managed to convince Avery and Mommy to get in and play! |
| Babu wanted to make sure that his granddaughters were comfortable, so he brought out a fan, blankets and snacks for the girls. |
| Now that's my kind of camping! It was so comfortable that I managed to fall asleep for an hour in there!!! |
| While Mommy was napping, the girls decided to chill in the backyard with Gigi and Daddy. |
| They even "washed" my car while I was asleep! |
| Lulu, hard at work. |
| Sweet Buggy. |
| Fun with bubbles at Gigi's! |
