Summer Fun!

Now that all five of us are finally healthy, we've been making up for lost time this week with lots of summer fun!

 Summer fun at the playground.  

Lulu had a fun solo weekend at Gigi and Babu's house.  She went "camping" in the backyard and had lots of playdates with Layla.  They went to the bouncy house and had a picnic at the playground.  

 The girls had fun playing with their BFF's, Owen, Ella and Hudson this week!

The girls were in HEAVEN during Frozen movie night at gymnastics.  They dressed up, did some gymnastics, watched Frozen and met Queen Elsa!!!!  According to the girls, she was "soooo beautiful!"

We've been enjoying our summer of gymnastics!  The girls are there 4 times a week!

...and her high chair.  Where she's not only safe from danger, but also her crazy big sisters!!

It's almost August, which means summer is almost over, which means this little red headed stinker is almost ONE!!!  How could that be?!!

VBS 2014

The girls had a BLAST at Vacation Bible School at St. Stephen's this week.  They came home each day with a new song and Bible story to tell us about.  Hailey also developed a crush on one of the high school volunteers.  She said, "I think I'm falling in love!"  Doug said that she won't be going back next year.  But after he hears all that they learned in that short week, he'll be changing his tune!  The girls learned all about God's love and about being kind, caring, giving and forgiving.  They have been teaching me lessons all week and we've been singing VBS songs sun up to sun down!  

They really had the best time and it warms my heart to see them so happy to learn and delight in God's word.  

VBS Day 1.

Avery was not a fan of the girls screaming singing to their VBS songs, but Mommy thought they sounded like angels.  

VBS, Day 5.  The girls were not happy to have the week come to an end, but they were very excited to show me everything that they had made and learned.  I've been humming VBS songs all week!

Lulu was very proud of the crafts that she made during VBS.  

And now these three remain:  faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.
