"In Summer!!"

To reference Olaf, the very popular snowman in our house, "Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be a happy snowman!"  Or in this case, little girl!  Yep.  It's summer and we've got the happiest 3 little girls in the neighborhood! (And they're just about as white as Olaf the snowman too!)

The pool opened on a beautiful, but COLD day in May, but you better believe the girls were the first ones in the pool.  Who cares about blue lips, chattering teeth and pneumonia when there's fun to have in the pool?!
Hailey jumped right in and started swimming around like a mermaid.  Lulu plopped herself right down on the steps with her dolly and a paintbrush and got to playing, and Avery was one happy baby splashing around for the very first time in the pool!  The girls scarfed down hotdogs, which always taste better at the pool, and snowcones and after a full day of swimming, they were all in bed and ASLEEP by 6:30pm-which is unheard of in our house!!!

Memorial day was one to remember, with another long day at the pool with my 3 lovelies and my handsome veteran husband, but this time with much warmer weather!  We also got to celebrate Layla's 2nd birthday with Aunt Kay & Unlce Ken, Matt & Erin, Butch & Irene, Gigi & Babu and Uncle Poogie.  We can't wait for Baby Layla to move here so the girls can play together all the time!  The pool AND a birthday party!??  These girls were in heaven!!

It's bound to be one exhausting summer, chasing these three around the pool in the hot sun, but as our friend Olaf would say, "Some people are worth melting for."

Memorial Day weekend, 2014.

Avery's first memorial day.

Playing dollhouse with Erin and Baby Layla.

Layla and Lulu were like two peas in a pod, chasing eachother around the house, giggling, all afternoon!

It's going to be fun watching these two grown up together!

The birthday girl, on Kay's famouse Carousel pony.

Hailey and Layla.

Ready for lunch at the kiddie table!

Looks like we're going to have to get one more chair for the kiddie table!!

Present time!  In true Kinard girl forn, the girls were right up front and ready to help Layla open her gifts!

They were also more than willing to help test them out!

Daddy and his mini-me.

Bug and Lulu.

Avery had fun playing with Butch.

Cake time!!

The birthday girl and her Mommy and Daddy.

First day at pool, 2014!

Avery's first time at the pool!

Airplane with Daddy is so much more fun at the pool!

Lulu's first swim this summer.

Hailey's first swim this summer.

Thank goodness they also like playing in the baby pool because we will be spending lots of time there this summer!

One of the best things about the pool...snowcones!!!

Memorial Day, 2014.

Pretty sure we had the palest (but the cutest!) girls at the pool!

Me and my girls on Memorial Day.

Avery, almost 9 months.

Little Lulu on Memorial Day.

Hailey, part crazy girl, part mermaid!

It takes a small army to take these three to the pool!  I was nervous taking them all to the pool for the first time by myself, but it went surprisingly well!

Hailey was a great helper and kept a close eye on her little sister.

Little Bug.

Little Lulu.

We made sure to get lots of sunhats for our little redheaded baby!

Snowcone time!

Lunch in the towel tent.

This has been happening!!!  Avery is getting big!

The happiest puff eater on the planet!
I know there will be a time in my life when I will miss having the CONSTANT company...even when I try to sneak away to the bathroom!...but that time sure isn't now!  I tried to lock myself in the bathroom to call a friend, but you see how that turned out!  At least they're cute :)

Elsa and Anna.

Reenacting the song "Do you want to build a snowman?" from Frozen.

When she's not in the pool, this little artist is doing crafts!  As of right now, Hailey wants to be an art teacher when she grows up.

Playing "babies."
