Summer is here already, and it seems like we just sent the girls off for their first day of school. I'm looking forward to lazy summer days, but I'm also sad to close the St. Stephen's Preschool chapter in Hailey's book. After many sleepless nights and long discussions, we finally made up our minds to send Hailey to Junior Kindergarten at St. Catherine's next year. She spent a day there last week and is already asking to go back! Lainey is excited to be the big girl at preschool next year, and is already planning on showing Avery the ropes!
The last week of preschool is always one of the most hectic, between end of the year programs, gifts, picnics and planning summer schedules, we've been super busy! The girls both said goodbye to their classmates for the summer during their end of the year picnics and Hailey put on quite the performance during her very last St. Stephen's preschool program (yes, I cried!)
Now, I'm going to try to put the girls in a bubble and freeze time this summer, while I soak up every bit of their silly, snuggly, mommy-loving cuteness!

Mother's Day 2014
My Mother's Day was wonderful. I slept in, went for a jog (without the stroller full of kids!), went to church and breakfast with Doug (and no kids!), took a long nap with my babies and was showered with flowers, and homemade cards.

End of the Year Program

| Hailey was very excited to show off the songs that she had been working on for her very last St. Stephen's program. Her favorite songs were "If all the raindrops" and "When the train comes along." After they were done singing, we watched a slideshow, where of course I cried my eyes out! Our little girl is getting so big! |
Spring Gymnastics Show
The girls were very excited to show us what they've been learning in gymnastics. They also loved performing together! Lulu had a little stage fright at first, so Miss Megan walked out with her. They both did great and got medals at the end!
