We had a great start to summer this Memorial Day weekend. Having the pool right across the street from us has been so wonderful, it almost brings me to tears! No more packing for a week, just to make a trip to the pool! No more packing lunches! No more changing clothes and loading up into hot and sweaty carseats!! It has been AMAZING!! The Kinard family has been making great use out of this wonderful gem called The Kanawha Pool, that is practically in our yard!
We also had a great time cooking out with good friends and the girls had fun running around with friends from Preschool.
We ended the weekend watching old home movies in Mommy and Daddy's bed. The girls just loved watching videos of them when they were "babies" (even though they still seem like babies to me now!!) I spent most of the viewing crying, amazed at how quickly time flies, and the girls spent most of the time laughing and saying "Awwww! Cute!"
This weekend was an exciting look at what's in store for us this summer. Pool, park, sleep, repeat. I think I can handle that!!
