Here We Go!

So far, 2013 has been full of runny noses, fevers, ear aches and doctors appointments.  I'm hoping things can only go up from here!

The girls started the New Year off right with new haircuts.  Lainey cried, no surprise there, but she did manage to keep her head still while she was screaming so the stylist could even out her "baby mullet."  Hailey has become a seasoned professional and just gets in the police car and zones out to whatever movie they are playing on the TV.

Our New Years Eve was low key.  The girls weren't feeling well and we were all still exhausted from our plane flights, so we stayed in.  We had dinner at my friend Cindy's house and the girls loved running around with Owen and Ella and then we headed home and we were all in bed my 9pm!

The rest of the week has been filled with timeouts, tantrums and tears.  Which is always to be expected after weeks of Christmas spoiling from both sets of grandparents!

Thankfully, the girls start school again this week.  I'm thankful, not because I don't enjoy having my babies home with me (because I LOVE our lazy days at home, playing princesses and puzzles) but because we desperately need some structure in this house!

Lainey's first haircut. (19 months old)

The lolli helped!

Watching "sissy" before it was her turn.

Post haircut pose.

Owen decided Hailey's new hairdo needed a little touching up!

Owen, Ella, Hailey and Lainey.  Early New Years Eve 2013.

We rang in the new year at home, with our two favorite girls.  It might have been 7:30pm when we celebrated, but who really wants to stay up until midnight anyways?!

Ella and Lainey, taking the Cozy Coupe for a spin together during a playdate this week.

Meanwhile, Hailey and Owen were running around the playroom like donkeys!

We love having Owen and Ella right up the street from us!
Waiting patiently at the doctor's office.

18 month stats.  25 pounds (50%) 32inches (25%)

Thanks goodness for the Leap Pad 2!

Pretending to be a baby getting a checkup.

Playing stickers together.

Fun with bubbles!

Hailey's new favorite pose.

Eating some nuggets after Sunday school.  They were both yelling "CHEESE!"

Double trouble....

Princess Hailey in her castle.

Little Lulu in her Coupe.

Taking their babies for a stroll.

Decorating her waffles with Daddy before preschool.

She was a happy girl on her first day back at preschool after what seemed like a VERY long winter break!

Mini Mommy was happy to have her alone time with "Mama" again.
