They Like Each Other! They Really Like Each Other!!

Hooray!!!  My girls have actually been playing together!!  For the past week, they've been laughing, playing and hugging non-stop!  It's the sweetest sight ever, and I couldn't be happier!  I hope that this means fewer fights, tantrums and yelling matches!!  Fingers crossed!

They actually ASKED me to take their picture!!!

They thought they were so funny when they both decided to turn around and face the wrong way when Mommy was trying to take a picture of them.

Lainey asks for "Sissy" in the mornings when she wakes up.

Playing "music class with Mrs. Ashley" (their music teacher at preschool)

Pizza picnic outside in January!

Playing in their clubhouse.

No coats in January!!  Love it!!

Fun in the sandbox!

Playing blocks together with Daddy before preschool.

Bug was very proud of her tower.

Lainey liked knocking it down!

Making valentines.

Making valentines for their friends.

Lainey liked to "help" too.

Snuggling on the chair.

Headstands.

Push ups and hugs!  At the same time!  Oh to be that limber and energetic again...

More (unstaged!) hugs!

Again.  Why do they think it's so funny to hide from Mommy's camera!

Actually sharing toys!!

They even share clothes!!  Lulu, sporting Sissy's shirt.

Another one of Sissy's shirts.

Hailey was so excited about Hibernation Day at school this week.  She got to wear her jammies and slippers to school and she brought Curious George too!

She made a cave for George to hibernate in, while they drank hot chocolate and read stories in their pj's.  How cute is that?!!

Lainey was fascinated by George in his new "home."

Peeking in at Dora and Teddy, going Ni-night.

It warms my heart to see my two girls getting along so well.  But there is no doubt that they have pretty different personalities.

Hailey is and always will be our "donkey!'  The girl is non stop!  If she's not running around or flipping, she's yelling and screaming.  She has so much energy that she sometimes can't find enough time in the day to release it all!  She is the most caring, sensitive and sweet little girl and I often think she has a heart five times too big for her pint sized three year old body.  She loves pleasing people and her imagination astounds me.  She is perfect and I fall more in love with her each day.

Yelling Singing princess songs in her boombox.

Run Hailey, Run!

Taking Lainey's bike out for spin.

Showing me her "princess poses."  Pose #1.  Casual and cool.

Pose #2.  Playful.

Pose #3.  Flirty.

Pose #4.  Creative.

Lulu.  She is my snuggle bear.  This little girl loves to cuddle, eat and watch tv.  Now she is Mommy's mini-me!  I could snuggle with her all day long, if I didn't have a wild 3 year old to chase after!!  She loves Mommy and Daddy and she looooves her Sissy.  She just wants to be were Hailey is and is constantly imitating her.  Lainey is my good sleeper, my good eater and my good cuddler.  I could just eat her up!

Watching Dora under some comfy blankies.

Kisses for baby.

A bag of chips + Sesame Street = Happy Lulu.

Lainey LOVES to brush her teeth!

Fries, a bow and toys.  What more could a little girl ask for?
She loves books!

My happy girl.

When my girls are happy, Mommy is happy.  I think it's safe to say that we're all pretty darn happy!!!

SNOW! Gymnastics, Monkey Joe's and Great Friends

It snowed!!!  Our fabulous weekend was off to a good start with the first snow of the season on Friday!  The girls had a blast playing outside in the snow and I literally had to drag them inside the house before their faces were frostbitten!!  Hailey made snow angles, threw snowballs, went sledding down the hill across from our house and even brought some of her dollies outside to see the pretty white stuff.  Lainey was amazed by the snow and kept pointing out the window saying, "Dat!! Dat!!  Oooooo!"  She loved stomping around in the snow with her snow boots on, and seemed to get a kick out of watching her crazy big sister run wild outside.

After an exciting morning playing in the snow, Gigi and Babu came over to watch Bug show off her gymnastics skills.  The girls had a great day of spoiling from the grandparents, while Doug and I enjoyed a child free day.

On Saturday, we jump started our "family day" with a family trip to Monkey Joe's.  Hailey of course was in heaven and Lainey liked jumping up and down in the bouncy houses, but only if Mommy or Daddy was holding her.  We came home and all took a long nap (even Mommy and Daddy!)  Then we played in the snow some more and made dinner together.  It was a picture perfect day.

After church on Sunday, we did some more house hunting and then ended our great weekend with dinner and a playdate at my friend Cindy's house.  Hailey and Owen were so cute playing together and I think it's safe to say that Lainey is officially obsessed with Ella.  She kept chasing after Ella yelling, "EEEWWWWAAA!" all night and she even fell asleep calling Ella's name!

We couldn't have dreamt up a better weekend and we're so thankful for our family and friends.  I'm starting this week off feeling very blessed.

Candids and Dinner at Owen and Ella's:

This little baby made a mess...

This little baby was scolded by Mommy...

This little baby doesn't like making Mommy mad...

This little baby cried and was immediately picked up and snuggled by Mommy.

Lainey.  In her element.  Comfy chair, Dora, and her own bag of chips.

Hailey and Owen.

Ella, Lainey, Owen and Hailey enjoying dinner and a playdate.

Lainey managed to sneak out of the living room while we were eating dinner.  Then she found her way into the kitchen, opened the pantry door, found the huge box of Goldfish, and then dumped them all out onto the ground.  Fortunately, she had lots of helpers to help her clean them up (and eat them!)

Hailey and Owen were pretending to be waiting for Santa in their bed.  Santa aka Mr. Doug, then snuck into the room and left them toys.  It was very cute, and kept them entertained for a long time!

Eating cake pops from Starbucks because they ate their vegetables!

Brrrr!  It's been cold out!  But that hasn't stopped our kids from wanting to play outside!!
