She's finally walking! My baby has been toddling around the house for the past week and it's the cutest thing ever! She is very proud of herself and so are we.
The girls had a fun week full of activities. They both had Halloween parties in their classrooms and I was a volunteer for Hailey's party. She loved having Mommy at her preschool and was definitely the most excited and enthusiastic child in her class that day! Some of the activities that we did for her class party were a pumpkin patch, a Halloween themed snack, story and craft. Hailey also made goodie bags for her classmates. Lainey also had a Halloween treat and made a pumpkin that she colored all by herself.
After our class parties, we went home and rested before Hailey had gymnastics. This was her 9th week in a row and she is doing great! She loves doing forward rolls and can walk across the balance beam all by herself! This week was extra special because Grandma was visiting and got to watch too.
Halloween night was super fun! We went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood with our friends and Hailey had a blast! She loved knocking on the doors and ringing the doorbells and she kept trying to walk inside each house! I'm embarrassed to say that Hailey's Halloween candy is almost gone, and she's hardly had any of it!!
We spent the rest of the week visiting with Grandma. The girls loved all of the attention and I loved the extra help! Grandma was a good sport and must have played dress up with Hailey for at least 5 hours!
Now that Halloween is over, Hailey is convinced that it's Christmastime. She's been singing "Jingle Bells" and talking about Santa all day! It's going to be a long 2 months!!

| The Elf on the Shelf has made his appearance in our house and I now wonder what I ever did without him! Hailey has to be on her best behavior, or the elf will tell Santa that she's been naughty! |
