We had a great Thanksgiving week! Hailey had her first Thanksgiving service at preschool where she sang for us and you know this Mama was holding back the tears!! We also hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house and I must say, it went off without a hitch! Gigi, Babu and Uncle Poogie joined us and so did my Aunt Kay and Uncle Ken and Cousin Erin with her husband Matt and their sweet baby Layla. We had a packed house and had way too much to eat and drink!!
I loved dressing up my Tiny Turkeys in festive outfits all week!

| Hailey was happy to see Mommy and Daddy at herThanksgiving Feast at school! |
Her preschool held a Thanksgiving service on Tuesday. The kids each put a canned good on the altar for the food drive and then sang songs for the parents. I was impressed that they all sat still for an entire church service!!! (I was also thankful that I wasn't the only Mommy crying during the program!!)
| Bug was supposed to be facing the altar and worshipping, but she kept turing around and smiling at us instead!! |
| Just in case you can't read Hailey's turkey, it says, "I am thankful for my Mommy!!" :) |
| Playing outside with Daddy. |
| No week is complete without a little dress up! And a cake pop from Starbucks. |
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving at our house. It was great having Thanksgiving with my family and with the Lynchs and Wilkeys. We're so happy to have some family back here with us in Virginia!! I did all of the cooking while everyone else took care of the kids (it takes an Army!!) Lainey is coming down with a cold and was either sleeping or clinging on to so someones hip all afternoon (so, she's missing from most of the pictures!)
| Hailey spent the entire time outside playing. She had lots of playmates to choose from!! |
| Lulu's turkey she made at school. |
| A very RARE moment! |
| The men spent the whole time drinking beer, watching football and lounging around...do I sound bitter? No! Not me!! ;) |
| Erin and Layla. |
| We were very thankful that Kay volunteered to bring the pies!!! |
| Doug did a great job carving the turkey! |
| As you can see, we're not very fancy. Most of our "guests" loaded up their plates and parked it right in front of the TV!! At least some of us actually ate at the table! |
| Lainey was upset that she had to miss a lot of her favorite holiday because she wasn't feeling well:( |
| Yep. That about sums the day up!! |
