My Very Festive Birthday Week

 

 My birthday week pretty darn perfect.   Doug surprised me with flowers and a new i-phone and the girls made me very sweet birthday cards (with Daddy's help).  We spent most of the week partaking in very festive, fall activities.  We made our annual trip to Pumpkinville and the girls had a great time picking out pumpkins and playing in the mazes and haunted houses.  We even went on a hayride this year!  Doug and I enjoyed a nice evening out alone and got to have dinner with lots of my old coworkers form Williamsburg.  We had a great time decorating pumpkins at Maya's 3rd birthday party and then spent a fun night out with friends for Oktoberfest.  And we even made the long drive up the street to Owen and Ella's house for dinner last night.

Spending most my day with these two little nuggets is a birthday treat in itself!  Hailey proudly wore her cupcake dress to preschool and was apparently talking about me at school because I was wished happy birthday over and over again by everyone during carpool pickup!

If you pay attention, you will notice a recurring theme with little Lulu...jewelry and purses. 

Only Lainey can pull off  plastic jewelry, a Hello Kitty purse and a diaper!

This was the cutest party!  They had a "pumpkin patch" in their backyard so the kids could pick out a pumpkin and then decorate it!
