End of Summer Florida Fun

 

 

I think the huge smile on her face says it all.  It was another great trip to Florida for the books.  The girls were spoiled rotten (again) and Doug and I enjoyed lots of child-free nights out with good friends.  We even made it to the beach a few times before Tropical Storm Isaac hit! 

 

 

Mommy and Daddy, enjoying a date night before our vacation, so Gigi and Babu could "say goodbye" to the girls for a whole week!

We hadn't even unloaded the car and Hailey had Grandpa in the Princess Tea Party chair!

Lulu was SO excited to see her best bud Great Gran-Gran!  They were both dancing for joy!

Hailey loved playing with her toys at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

It looked like Christmas when we got there! 

The girls loved all of their goodies!



Princess wings, a pool float and fuzzy socks.  The party had officially started!

Then she enjoyed floating around. 

Hailey loved splashing Grandpa. 

Of course her baby had to wear fairy wings too! 

Everyone took turns swimming with Bug.  She was in the pool four hours each day!  Even during the rain!!

Any time Bug wasn't in the pool, she was coloring or painting!

Doug and I got to escape to the beach without the kiddos!  It was lovely. 

 

 

The theme of the week.  Swim and play until you crash...hard.

Hailey had Mickey Mouse pancakes every morning.

I think she liked them. 

Lulu and Gran-Gran went for walks everyday!  And when it was raining, Gran-Gran walked her around the house in the stroller!

 

We took the girls to Dubois Park to see the water and sand.  Hailey loved touching it!

And walked right out into the water!  Our water baby has no fear!

Lainey liked it too!

Lulu loved soaking up the sun!

Daddy took Bug for a walk around the lagoon. 

Aunt Kelly took Hailey to a private ballet lesson!  She was a natural and had a blast!  She was so cute in her ballet costume!

Bug was happy to see that Aunt Kelly had a tiara and a princess coloring book at her work!!

One of my favorite things to do in Florida is hit up the consignment stores!  Four cute outfits for $50!!

Hailey starts gymnastics next week so Aunt Kelly took her to get a gymnastics leotard. 

Buggy loved doing "chapsticks" in it!

What a great way to end the summer.  We have a lot of change in store for us next week, and it's hard to believe that summer is almost over!
