Bug had her first day of preschool at St. Stephen's on Friday and it was an exciting day for all of us! We had our classroom visit the day before, and had been talking about preschool for awhile, so when the day came, she was ready!
Waking up that morning she was ready to go to "Haywee's pwe school!"
After a little bit of "hairapy" we headed downstairs for her favorite breakfast. Milk, Mickey Mouse and a "pink bite."
Then we got dressed and I gave her her "Caterpillar backpack" (it's her favorite book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar's" butterfly on her backpack). She was very excited about it and wanted to put it on right away!
She sat by the front door waiting for Mommy and Daddy to get ready. She was ready to go before we were!
Lainey was very proud of her big sister for going to preschool all by herself!
One of the many fabulous things about St. Stephen's is that they have morning drop off on the playground! How genius is that?!
Ms. Anne and Ms. Mary Beth were waiting for Buggy and she was very happy to see them!
Bug wanted to show them her new backpack and her diapees inside!
Looking at her on the playground, on her first day of preschool, brought tears to my eyes. It's a good thing I was wearing sunglasses!
After pickup, Bug caught up with her friend Maddie, who's in another classroom, to gossip about their first day of preschool.
Fortunately, Buggy's first day of preschool was perfect, and the only tears shed that day were mine :( Let's just hope she's just as excited about it this week!
