It's no secret that Buggy is Dora the Explorer's number one fan, but today she even surprised me with her very "Un-P.C." Dora reference. Her favorite episode by far is the episode about the Chocolate Tree, where Dora and Boots sing "Bate, Bate Chocolate" (it sounds like bah-teh, bah-teh, choc-o-late!) while they're mixing bowls of chocolate from the Chocolate Tree. Lately, she's been saying "bate" for brown or the word chocolate. It's also no secret that she's become a fan of taking care of baby dolls. Well today at Coffee and Cartwheels, Buggy was attached to a tiny African American baby doll that she called her "Bate Bate Baby!" She fed her Bate Bate Baby, gave her kisses, rocked her and took her everywhere!
| Why she refuses to eat vegetables, but finds it acceptable for her baby dolls to have them is still daunting to me! |
Before she saw Bate Bate Baby, she of course made a B line straight to the book section and sat down with a good read.
| Judging from this face it's apparently "not cool" to have your mom always following you around with a camera. |
| Making sure I'm still aware of her "boo-boo." Which means she wants me to kiss it. |
| Jumping on her hopscotch mat she got from her friend Big Caroline for her birthday! |
| Hugs for her rubber ducky. |
| Pounding out some sweet beats on her drum. |
With just 6 weeks of baby baking left, my belly button and rear end now both have their own zip codes! I feel huge and even the most simple tasks such as putting on my shoes and picking up toys are almost impossible! I'm even too uncomfortable to nap!

If only I could give birth to a Bate Bate Baby, and maybe then I could count on having a little 2 year old helper around in 6 weeks!
You look fabulous!
