This weekend was one of the best weekends we've had around here! The weather was beautiful, Daddy was home all weekend and we got to spend lots of time with some of our favorite people! Spring has sprung in Virginia and that means that I get to do one of my favorite activities! Organizing Buggy's closet! It's 80 degrees here, our beautiful pink dogwood is blooming in our front yard and that means it's time to bring out Bug's spring/summer wardrobe.
Her dress clothes. I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Thank goodness she's having a little sister!!!
Her play clothes. Hey, if I'm going to be in stretch pants and t-shirts for the entire summer, it makes me feel a little better if my daughter is at least dressed nicely!
One of the highlights of the weekend was our playdate with Boss, LoveLight and Bebe. I can always count on a good time when I hang out with their Mommy! And Buggy loves all the attention she gets from them!
Another exciting event this weekend was Ella's 2nd birthday party! Buggy was happy to play with Ella again. Since she lives in Williamsburg, they don't get to see each other too much. She enjoyed lots of cake and had super fun playing tea party and finger paints with Daddy!
It was hard trying to explain that all these fabulous presents were for Ella and not Buggy! She even tried to convince a Great Grandparent to open one of Ella's gifts!
After the exciting birthday bash, we headed over to Gigi's and Babu's house for a sleepover and some relaxing.
And that was enough to wear us all out!
