Pig Tails and Piggy Cosutmes!

Buggy has lots to be excited about this weekend!  Halloween is just around the corner and her Grandmama is here to visit!

In preparation for all the yummy candy Bug is going to score on Sunday night, she's been hitting the candy dish extra hard lately.  She'll stand at the table and say "Peas, peas, peas" (aka please) until we finally give in and give her some.

Bug has begun to associate Grandmama's visit with lots of attention, and lots of PRESENTS!  It looks like Christmas morning around here already, and she's only been here for two days!  In typical Grandma fashion, she came with her duffel bag loaded with goodies for Buggy!  (I should mention that this was her only carry-on and the airport lost her own luggage!  At least Bug's treats made it safely to our house!)

She loves her dancing Frosty the Snowman and Halloween treats!

But our favorite goodie is the super deluxe Radio Flyer Wagon!

Bug felt like hot stuff strolling up to the playground in her new wheels!

Buggy acting like bubbles are the coolest things in the whole universe!

We also got to make another trip to Da-Ta's office for the annual Halloween Party and Buggy stole the show as a little Piggy.

Fashion disaster!  Bug's friend Wingrove came in the same costume!  Look for them in next weeks "Us Weekly" under the "Who wore it best?" section.  We'll let you be the judge! (if it isn't obvious already!)

She had great fun running around to each office and trick-or-treating.  She also liked sorting her candy.  She would put all the orange Reese's peanut butter cups on her left, and the other candy on the right!  She's such a smart little piggy!

It also gave our socialite a chance to mingle and gossip with her girlfriends.  Here she is with her friend Caroline.  This is right before she took all of Caroline's Tootsie Pops and made her cry hysterically!

I was especially excited to see my good friend Lauren and her sweet girl, Caroline, too!

Buggy and Caroline make quite the dynamic duo.

This was taken before I realized that Bug was eating the ice cubes out of the bucket full of juice boxes!  Yumm!

For the majority of the pary, this is the view we had of Buggy!  Everyone was commenting on how cute she was running up and down the hallways making her snorting sound.

She was hands down the cutest kiddo there!  (Ok, maybe I'm a little partial!)

We liked visiting Da Ta's office!  He looks so important doesn't he?!

Future CEO, Miss Buggy Kinard!

All that running around make Bug a little sweaty!  Poor child!

Yep. I think Buggy's got the trick-or-treating concept down.  Now she's contemplating all the other treats and toys she can get by just looking cute and holding a pumpkin bucket!

"Does this trick-or-treating business work all year round?"

"Hmmmm.  I could really make this work to my advantage!"

Happy Halloween!

Fall Fun

It's been a very exciting couple of days for us.  Last night we got to watch Daddy play in a "touch" football game for Harris Williams. Somehow he managed to be the only one who was injured, with what I think is a broken finger!  It's a good thing his Mama is coming to town on Thursday, because I sure as heck can't get him to go see a doctor!

While DaTa was reliving his "Glory Days" on the football field, Buggy and I were taking golf cart rides with our friend Caroline and her Mommy Lauren.  The company football game and cookout was at one of Doug's co-workers estates. (Must be nice to need a golf cart to get around your property!)  We also enjoyed looking at the 300lb pot bellied pigs, goats, sheep and more!

Monday's are always busy for us, and this Monday was no exception.  We had music class and then this morning was another "Member's Monday" at CMoR, and Bug had great fun playing with her girlfriends!

So far, it's been a fantastic Fall!!

Don't Worry. We're Alive.

Typhoid Hailey strikes again!  After what was indeed a very ugly weekend, Mommy and Daddy have finally pulled our heads out from the toilets and our bodies out from our beds.

It's hard to believe that this angelic face managed to get us all deathly ill!

Fortunately, we're back on our feet and no one is more happy about this than Miss Buggy.  Of course, by the time her virus spread to us, Bug was feeling much better and was ready to play!  It took all the energy I had to walk her up and down the sidewalk just one time!

(She loves Da-ta's shoulders!)

 (And loves her books!)

(Giving her bunny kisses and hugs.)

Now that we're all healthy, we're going to go outside and enjoy this beautiful fall day!  (And yes, eventually, I will put some clothes on my child!)
