Hi Daddy!

"Hi Daddy!  I wanted to show you what Mommy and I do on Mondays after we have lunch with you."
*and Grandmama and Granddaddy, look how big I've gotten!  Mommy says that I'm all over the place now!

We play!  A lot!  I pulled myself up and played with my Baby Leap Frog.

Then I saw this cool red ball, so I decided to chase it!

I practiced my baby yoga with Mommy.  This pose is called "Downward Facing Dog!"

I practiced walking and pushed my baby in her stroller.

Then I played with my ball popper.  I like letting the air blow on my face!

I noticed that Mommy had put my toys away while I was napping, so I decided to take them all down off my shelf.

First I started with my Elmo books.

I usually make a funny face before I drop them on the ground, because I know they are going to make a loud noise!

Then I took all my other toys down too.

After I cleaned off my toy shelf for Mommy, we rolled some balls back and forth to eachother.

I really like chasing them!

Then we played with my dollhouse.  I like making the telephone ring, over and over again, but then Mommy turned the sound off, so I got bored.

So I played with my jungle toy and I rolled the balls down the slide like a big girl!

The purple one is my favorite!

All that playing made me thirsty, so I drank some juice.

Then I decided that I was tired of playing in my playroom.

So Mommy took me in the kitchen and I got to help her cook and make lots of noise!

We climbed up and down the stairs a few times.

And looked out the window.

Then Mommy and I split a yummy banana.

We had a fun afternoon and I can't wait to tell/babble to you about it during dinner!  But first I'll want to try to pull your glasses off your face, grab your nose, drool on your shoulder a little bit and head butt you (since that's my way of telling you "I love you"!)

"Happy Monday Daddy!  Thanks for working so hard and sorry that I got you sick...again!"

So Much to Say!

Our man has been gone on a business trip for the past 4 days, and poor Hailey just seemed so confused.  She kept looking out the window for her Daddy's car to pull up and waiting for him to poke his head around the corner during luchtime and dinner.

Thankfully, he came home today with lots of kisses for Miss Buggy.

She had so much to tell him, she didn't know where to begin!

She wanted to tell him that her Uncle Poogie came for a visit.

And that he helped her practice how to walk (since that's usually Daddy's daily job).

And she thinks she's getting much better.  She also wanted to tell him that sometimes she can stand up for a few seconds all by herself!

She wanted to tell her Daddy that she successfully transitioned to a sippy cup with a straw this week!

She wanted to tell him that she missed his baths!  Daddy always does his "Back to the Future" Doc impersonation with her.  "Great Scott!"

She couldn't wait to tell him about the scary opera singer on her "Elmo's World" DVD.  It made her cry!

Buggy also had to tell her Daddy how much better she's feeling and that she's not sick anymore!  She's been crawling all over the place and singing/squeeling at the top of her little baby lungs!  Look at how happy she is!
But most of all, Hailey wanted to tell her Daddy how much we missed him this week and that we're so glad he's home!  We love you Papa Bear!

We're on Drugs!

Oh sweet Lord what a week it's been!  Hand, Foot & Mouth, viruses, and Strep Throat!  Our sweet baby just seems to be a germ magnet!  Thank goodness for modern medicine, because after 24 hours on antibiotics, it seems that we have an entirely different baby living with us!  Buggy woke up with a smile on her face, and it hasn't left her since!  We enjoyed a great morning with Daddy, playing with our toys and swinging in her swing, and we even went out to a very indulgent brunch in The Fan!  It warms my heart to see our girl feeling better!  Here are some pictures from our great morning, and I'm going to go enjoy this rare time with my HEALTHY baby :)
