Palm Beach Princess

Hailey, Granny Nanny and I just got home from an exciting week in Jupiter Florida visiting Grandmama and Grandaddy.  Aside from the stomach bug and explosive diarrhea that Hailey brought with her from Virginia that infected half the state of Florida, we had a great trip!

Me and Hailey in front of the infamous Jupiter Lighthouse.

We relaxed at the beach on Palm Beach and shopped on Worth Avenue (window shopping only Doug, I promise!)  Granny Nanny couldn't resist putting her feet in the crystal blue water!

Us with the Florida grandparents.

Buggy was not a fan of the beach.  As soon as we set her down, she started screaming!

She prefered relaxing by the pool with Granny Nanny instead.

Hailey finally broke down and showed us how she really feels about all these darn pictures we take of her!  (note the "baby bird" she's giving the camera!)

The whole gang, minus Daddy, because he had to stay home and work :(  Hailey has started taking after Granny Nanny and likes to close her eyes in pictures!

Aunt Kelly and Uncle Dan.

Posing for the camera during dinner.

Hailey got to play with her friends Sasha and Selah and I got to visit with their Mommy Christine!  (We miss you guys already!!)
The sandbox was a big hit with Hailey. I think she might have one of these wrapped up for her first birthday!

And she LOVED the swings!

Looking a little sleepy with Grandmama Kinard.  Poor Hailey's hair frizzes in the Florida weather just like her Mommy's!

Hailey and Selah are only a few months apart and they don't know it yet, but they are going to be best friends (mainly because thier Mommies like to get together and drink martinis!)

Cute little Sasha was a great helper and was always wanting to feed Baby Hailey her bottle or give her some puffs.

Hailey had a great time playing with the toy kitchen set.  I've got to start training her early, since we all know cooking doesn't come naturally in this family!

I know Buggy was happy to see her family, but the "person" she was most excited to see was Buster the dog!

She loved chasing him around trying to catch him.  I think she thought he was another one of her toys!  He's the same size (or smaller!) than most of her toys!

Yes, we had a great trip and are very thankful for Grandmama and Grandaddy's hospitality!  And we're even more thankful that you live in sunny Florida, and have a pool, and live near a great mall, and live near the beach, and have tons of baby toys at your house, and spoil Hailey rotten...!!

Hailey was worn out at the end of our Florida adventure, but I know she's going to be wondering where the pool and warm weather went when she wakes up...and where's that funny doggy Buster?!!

  1. Sounds like y'all have a blast. Looks like Doug's parents are armed and ready with the baby gear. Lucky little Buggy!

  3. Holly, you look absolutely beautiful!! Looks like a gorgeous vacation. I wish I was there. I bet that was nice to get away from the cold weather. We will have to plan a day trip soon since we are up in Ashburn, VA.
