We ended our summer by hitting the open road for nearly two weeks for what turned out to be one epic New England road trip!
Hershey, Pennsylvania
We had a blast at our first stop, Hershey Park. The kids had a great time riding the roller coasters and we all enjoyed some down time from the park at the beautiful Hershey Hotel.
Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Our next stop was Portsmouth New Hampshire where we stayed in the beautiful Hotel Portsmouth. We had a great time exploring the cute town of Portsmouth.
Bangor, Maine
We stopped in Bangor for lunch and some sightseeing before hitting the road again.
Bar Harbor, Maine
Probably our favorite stop was beautiful Bar Harbor. The views from our hotel were stunning, the town was charming, and we spent an entire day in stunning Acadia.

Acadia National Park
We spent a full day in Acadia. The kids had a great time earning their Junior Ranger Badges!
Boston, Massachusetts
Next stop was exciting Boston! The kids couldn't believe how high our hotel room was! We kept busy with ghost tours, Duck tours and lots of walking. But the highlight of this stop was the Red Sox game. Avery's peppy energy and cute Red Sox spirit got us selected to help open the game. The kids got to be the "Play Ball Kids" and they announced all of their names and ages and had them yell "Play Ball" to start the game! We all loved being down on historic Fenway, the kids loved being on tv back home and on the huge jumbotron! We were Fenway Famous for a night!

Newport, Rhode Island
After a very late night we said goodbye to Boston and stopped in Newport Rhode Island (probably Mommy and Daddy's favorite stop, but not the kids!) We spent the day looking at the beautiful mansions of the Guilded Age and touring the charming town. Mom and Dad decided that we are going to have to come back again to spend more time...but with just the two of us!
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
We thought it would be a good idea to end our tour at the beach. We were very surprised by how cute the Boardwalk was in Rehoboth Beach! We split our time between playing on the beach and playing in Funland!
What a great way to end Summer 2022.
