Our first month of summer was jam packed with fun!  After our week at the beach we celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary, Lainey's 11th birthday, Father's Day, kicked off pool party season with lots of "epic" tweenage parties, attended a few Veritas camps, baseball games, drove over 30 hours taking Hailey and Avery to sleepaway camps (and squeezed in a mini West Virginia getaway at the same time), and spent lots of time with good friends and family.

Hailey earned her small S, two first place ribbons in track and a track medal!  She was also awarded the "circle pizza" award by her counselors :)

Lainey was so excited to see one of her best friends at camp pickup.  Kai moved away four years ago but they are still as close as can be :)

Hailey was thrilled to be bunkmates with Jordon.  Her first friend at Veritas.

She went from telling camp stories non-stop, to crying sad goodbye tears, to sleeping...hard.  It was "the best two weeks of her life!"
