It seems as if we've been going non-stop since June and when we moved in, things just seemed to speed up! We were all thankful for the slow, boring month of January this year because we were in desperate need of rest.
We loved having Grandma and Grandpa Kinard come to visit after Christmas and through the New Year. The kids loved spending time with them and Doug and I were able to get away and to the beautiful Homestead.
We rang in the New Year celebrating a dear friend's 40th birthday with a Roaring 20's party, and the kids settled back into school routines after the break. Hailey and Lainey have been loving basketball and we've really been loving our new basketball hoop! I had a great time chaperoning the kindergarten field trip with Avery and surprising all of the girls for lunch at school will never get old! We've also been enjoying hosting many playdates and dinners in our new home.
Avery and Lainey got their ears pierced, Caleb is officially potty trained and Pope Avenue is finally feeling like home for all of us. We can't wait to see what 2020 has in store!
