Happy 40th Birthday Daddy!

40 has never looked so good!  Happy Birthday to our favorite guy!  You make it easy to celebrate YOU!  We love you beyond measure!

Early Birthday Date in Williamsburg

We had a great day in Williamsburg celebrating Doug.  We started off at Wine and Brine at the Williamsburg Winery.  We sipped Rose on a beautiful spring day and had fresh oysters from a local oyster farmer.  Then we spent many hours vistiing with our favorite pregnant couple, Ryan and Emily.We made one more stop to our favorite restaurant for dinner and desert.  Many thanks to Gigi and Babu for watching our little people for us for the entire day!

The Big Day!

That's what 40!!! candles in an apple fritter looks like people! The girls were terrified and wanted me to get a fire extinguisher "just in case!!"

Birthday Breakfast with the Birthday Boy and his two biggest girls before school. (while the redheads were still sound asleep)

It wouldn't be Daddy's birthday without at least one birthday prank! 

We got to spend Doug's big day taking a final walkthrough of our dreamhouse we're building together before the drywall goes up next week. 

Meanwhile, at the office....

While Doug was being treated to a birthday lunch at work, we were busy getting ready for even more celebrating at home!!
