Getting Into Our Back to School Groove!

The weather is cooler, we have schedules and order in our house, college football is on our tv and I am back to packing lunches.  We're slowly settling into our back to school groove.

Back to School Night at Veritas

I loved seeing what Lulu has been up to in Kindergarten!  She loves having her own desk and learning cursive!

Of course Hailey's desk was full of frog books already!

Caleb Douglas

Caleb is nearly 10 months old now and he's the sweetest baby ever always full of smiles and cheerful squeals!  He's noisier than the girls were and babbles and grunts all day long.  He's messier than the girls were, requiring at least 4 outfit changes a day. He crawls much faster than the girls did and gets into EVERYTHING!  He loves balls, banging things, crashing things and making lots of noise, all the time!  Welcome to life with a baby boy!  I'm so out of my element.

Big sisters (and SSP graduates) love coming to pick Avery up on Fridays.  They also love that they get out of school before she does!

Poor Caleb spends on average 4 hours in the car each day!

She's still just as innocent now, in 2nd grade, than she was when she was the preschooler running around this playground.  I love that about her.  

American Girl Club

The girls have made up their own secret club called the American Girl club.  Last week they walked around the neighborhood inviting everyone to a garage/craft sale to raise money for the poor!

We are very proud of Hailey for taking her first communion.  We love seeing the Lord work in her little heart.
