Our Jampacked July!

Our July was jampacked and boy did it fly by!! A new school for the big girls, summer camps, swim team, 4th of July, overnight camp, Cubs games, playdates, cousin sleepover weekends and more!  Phew!

Every day is a crazy but beautiful gift.  My daily prayer is that I am able to enjoy every noisy, hectic, messy minute of this fleeting time in my sweet babies lives.  Heart be still.

These four little people call me Mom!!  Blessed beyond measure.

New School year, New School!

The girls will be starting at a new school in the Fall!  We are all excited about this new educational journey.

We've been spending lots of time on the playground and walking around the campus.

We even went inside to check out the kindergarten classrooms.

And the 2nd grade classrooms!

Lainey is very excited about the new school uniforms (and so am I!!!!).  She says she feels like she's in Harry Potter!

Hailey has been busy seeing a tutor this summer to get caught up on her cursive.  (They learn cursive in Kindergarten at Veritas.)

Getting quizzed by little sis.
One of her many masterpieces from Creative Writing camp!

I'm sure she is known as "The Frog Girl" but that's ok with me!

Hailey brought frog pencils and frog erasers to pass out to her new friends from Writing Camp.

Our nature lover was in heaven during her week of Nature Exploration camp at Veritas!

Bringing her nature camp home.  She was singing to her plant...it was 100 degrees out!  That's nature love if I've ever seen it!

Something just feels right about this choice in their education.

Eat Our Bubbles!

KRA Firefish 2017 swim team.

Cheering on bis sis!

4th Of July

Ready for the Kanawha bike parade!

Watching the Cubbies with Uncle Poogie.

Colonial Williamsburg for fireworks.

That moment when you see your very first firework.

Girl Scout Camp

I had a very hard time leaving my first baby for her first overnight camp.  It was pouring down rain and horribly hot.  I cried, she cried, it was awful.  But I let her go, and she had a great time.  (Expect for forgetting to eat and drink anything for two days and nearly passing out from dehydration and heat exhaustion!!! She was pale, tired and 5 pounds thinner when I picked her up!)  Fortunately her best buddy Kaitlyn was with her to keep her company and take care of her (and alert someone to take her to the nurse!)

Lugging their stuff to their cabin...in the pouring rain!

Checking out their cabin and meeting their new roomates.

She was right at home surrounded by her frogs!

These two always find a way to have a blast together!  A little rain wasn't going to stop them!

Canoeing with some new friends.

The Brownies of Pamunky Ridge Mighty Girl Camp 2017.

Ready to pick up their big sister!

Finally!  Reunited with my camper.

It felt great to have all of my minions back!

Closing ceremony.

Showing me her fairy house.

The girls with their cabin leader.

There's tired...

...and then there's camp tired!!!

Playing Girl Scout Camp with her sisters.

More playing camp.

Baltimore Trip to See Our Cubbies!

Babu treated his kids to some awesome seats at the Cubs-Orioles game!  We had such a great time at the game (CUBS WIN!) and exploring Baltimore.

Sisters in the Summertime!

Checkups for the big girls!

Fairy Princess Brownie bakers.

Redneck summer. (Our AC went out for a day. We didn't last long before we sent Daddy to Walmart for a window unit!)

Someone has really been getting into the Nancy Drew books we've been reading together!

Lulu had to get some bumps removed at the dermatologist (10 to be exact!) and she was very brave!
Lulu is becoming a great reader!

Lulu has been stealing my hats this summer.  But she looks so much cuter in them than I do!

Fun in the tub with one of the pool toys Aunt Kay gave us for their birthdays.

Avery and her invention.  It's "something that can do everything!"

Making Mommy a cake.  It was "Coke Weegle" flavor!!

This one wears herself out keeping up with her big sisters!

Our Little Prince

Life with 3 older sisters.  He will never be alone and his toys will always be pink!

This baby is much more exciting to play family with! (Note the discarded boring babies to the side!)

This little guy is ready to crawl!

So far, he can only go backwards, which gets him into some interesting places!

I was looking all over for him.  Finally, I heard my curtains rustling!  This little guy is no longer stationary!!

Caleb's First Haircut!

I held out as long as I could, but it had to be done.  His toupee/reverse mullet/Trump hair was getting out of control!

He looks like an entirely different baby!! And about 6 months older!   It's too much for me to handle.  Of course I cried.

Summer Friends

Little Book Worms

The girls' library cards have been smoking this summer!!

Pizza Makers

Gymnastics

Kanawha Cuties!

Having this little gem right across the street is the answer to summer boredom!

Cousin Weekend

It's been so fun raising kiddos alongside this fabulous cousin of mine!

The girls!  Layla, Hailey, Avery and Lainey.

The boys! Andrew, Aiden and Caleb.
