Beautiful 2016

I never make New Year's Resolutions, but I did read an article on New Years Day that gave me a renewed perspective for 2016.  With three girls under the age of 7, and an overworked husband who is constantly travelling, my life can get noisy, exhausting and overwhelming very quickly.  Sometimes before 8am!!  That makes it rather hard for me to stand back and appreciate how beautiful my life is.  Not just during the 5 minutes of my day when the girls are all happy, with all of their needs met and smiling in cute matching dresses.  My life is beautiful right now, in the middle of the noise, mess and chaos.  And for this I am truly grateful to my beautiful God, for giving me new eyes to see that these people are mine and I am theirs and what we have is so beautiful.  Here's to a beautiful 2016!

Happy New Year 2016!
 Winter Break SickBugs

Ringing in the New Year with ear infections.

They aren't very good at sharing their new toys from Santa, but they were great at sharing their sick germs!
 New Year's Eve 2015

On New Year's Eve we had our annual Happy New Year House Party!  We watched last year's ball drop at 7pm on YouTube and then had our noisy parade around the house.  The girls were tucked in and asleep by 7:30pm and Mommy and Daddy were out with our friends by 8pm!!

We had a fantastic time ringing in the new year with some of our favorite people!

Some of us had a little too much fun!....

Our favorite babysitter (neighbor and friend!) Bridget.  We will be sad when she leaves for college next year ;-(

Bundling Up for Back to School!

We had our first (brief!) flurries of the year on our first day back to school!  Hailey was already in school, but Lulu, Avery and I loved catching the pretty snowflakes on our tongues!

It's that time of year again.  Time to bring out the snugly hats and gloves!

Another Daisy?!

Lainey's been having fun during the admission's process for St. Catherine's.  She's looking forward to making St. Catherine's her school too.  We're still crossing our fingers that they are willing to let another Kinard girl into their school!

 Avery's First Haircut

We were only planning on getting haircuts for the big girls.  I had not prepared myself for the monumental act of cutting off Avery's sweet baby curls.  But as usual, we tend to roll with Avery's plans.  And that day, her plans involved a haircut, in the firetruck like her big sisters.  After an on-the-floor-kicking-screaming-make-you-hide-your-face-and-deny-you-are-the-mother-of-that-child-tantrum, she finally got her haircut.  And I held back the tears.

Little did I know, that this would be the last time my baby would wear piggytails for a long time.

After haircut lollipops are the best!

Hailey's new do.

Lulu's new do.

Avery's new do.

 So Happy Together

These three are inseparable. I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store for us!

After Sunday school paddle ball!

Our Lego master!

Being high maintenance is exhausting!!
