Florida Spring Break 2015

It was another fun Florida Spring Break for the books!  We had a great time visiting with friends and family and made our first road trip to Florida as a family of five!

Family Road Trip

The girls were so good on our 13 hour road trip to Florida and Daddy did a great job driving.  Thank goodness for portable devices and DVD's!

Fun at the hotel

The girls were all so happy to get our of their carseats and stretch out at the hotel.  Hailey and Lainey splashed around in the pool (Avery was and is still terrified of the pool).  

Beach Babies

We all had a great time at the beach.  The girls loved building sandcastles and jumping in the waves.  They also loved exploring the shore for jellyfish and shells.

We had a fun playdate with some neighbors and the girls spent hours in Grandma and Grandpa's pool!

Spring Training Game

Daddy took us to a Marlins spring training game in his hometown.  The girls had a great time and we all enjoyed the ballpark treats!

Mommy/Daddy Date Night

Mommy and Daddy took advantage of the live-in babysitters and enjoyed a date night at a local brewery and sushi bar.

Dance Class

The girls had fun taking a dance class at Aunt Kelly's dance studio.

Build A Bear

It's become a Florida trip tradition that Grandma takes them to Build A Bear to make an animal.  This time they made Princess Easter Bunnies!

Tequesta Urgent Care

It's also become a tradition that we visit the local Urgent Care.  This time it was for Avery and Hailey.  Both girls turned out to be allergic to penicillin and broke out in hives while we were down there!  Now all five of us are allergic to penicillin.

The Bean!

The girls love going to Cool Beans when we're visiting Grandma and Grandpa.  Our visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to "The Bean!"

Tequesta Park

We love that there is such a nice park near Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The girls get a little braver with each visit and this year they even went down the "big" slides!

Party Time!

I think Hailey's favorite part of our trip was Samantha's Caterpillar birthday party.  They had real caterpillars, butterflies and cocoons there!  She brought her caterpillar lovey and soaked up all of the caterpillar fun!  It's always fun visiting with the Cousins and our girls love playing with their girls.  It's always a loud, sparkly fun time!
