Thanksgiving 2014

So much to be thankful for this year!

I had two very cute helpers in the kitchen this year!

Lainey, presenting her canned good to the alter for her Thanksgiving celebration.

Lulu was so happy to see that her big sister surprised her by coming to see her sing in her Thanksgiving program.  She didn't leave her side the entire time!

Daddy and Avery came to see Lainey sing too!

It's great that the girls schools are right next to each other.  Avery and I just walked across the street to sneak Hailey out of class for Lainey's program!

St. Catherine's made a Human Food Chain from St. Catherine's to St. Stephen's.  They closed Grove Ave and passed food to each other all the way to St. Stephen's food bank!

Little Red had a cold for her 2nd Thanksgiving.  She's been happiest with her jammies on, her lovey in her hands and a paci in her mouth.

We had Thanksgiving at our house with all of our Virginia family.  The girls were SO excited to have Layla over for her first Virginia Thanksgiving!

The kids table.

Daddy and Poogie BUSTED watching General Hospital instead of football!

Yeah...

Snuggling up with some treats watching Barbie Nutcracker.

Let the feasting begin!

Babu was happy to go first!

The grown up table.  Poogie finally graduated!

The tiny turkeys table.

Avery was very excited to eat with the big girls!

She stayed at that table forever!

Babu thought she might be lonely and decided to keep her company.

The boys and their brews.

Babu got in some after dinner snuggling with Avery.

Poogie got in some after dinner sillies with Lainey.

Babu on babysitting duty in Lainey's room!

The girls decided to take full advantage of the fact that the adults were busy talking and consuming alcohol, so they decided to make a bouncy house out of all of the couch cushions!

Thanksgiving crafts with Erin.  They were making turkeys out of apples.

Hailey and her turkey.

More crafts!  This time, turkey feathers!

Thanksgiving bubble bath with Layla!

A sweet thank you note to God, written by Hailey's class.

Harvest Time!

It's Harvest Time!
The weather is beautiful, the leaves are beautiful, and if I must say, my girls are beautiful too!  These tiny turkeys have been having a blast playing in the leaves this fall!

Thankful Tree

Filling out our Thankful Tree.  Not surprisingly, Frozen was #3 on the list, under God and Jesus.  (and hotdogs weren't far behind!)

Fun Around the Firepit!

Making s'mores around the firepit with Gigi and Babu.

Babu and his crazy granddaughters!

Lulu loves her Babu!

Best Buddies!
When the weather starts to get colder, and we spend more time indoors, I'm even more thankful that my children actually enjoy playing together!!!

Playing Mary and Baby Jesus.  Yes, Jesus is wearing a diaper.

Reenacting the Christmas Story for Avery.

Lulu loves playing peek-a-boo with Avery!

"Peek-a-boo!"

Avery thinks her sister is crazy.

Avery is walking!....sort of!

Lulu loves helping Avery walk.  She can take a few steps on her own and laughs the whole time!  She's very proud of herself!

We Love our Veteran!
The girls had fun wearing Daddy's hat for Veteran's Day.  Daddy is our hero!

Avery decided that she didn't want to wear Daddy's hat.

So she decided to eat breakfast by it instead.

Tiny Voter!

We voted!

Busy Girls!

The girls have been loving dance, gymnastics and school!

Avery has fun playing in the leaves with her baby at school!

Showing Mommy her favorite spot in her classroom.

Zonked out after a long morning at school.

Same position, different Wednesday!

My shopping buddy!

Lulu is such a big girl now, waiting for Mommy in the carpool line!

Playing Frozen dolls during one of my afternoons with Lulu.

Fun in the JK House!
We absolutely love Hailey's school and teachers, and fortunately, so does she!

Hailey and her JK friends.

STEAM day at St. Catherine's.  The girls built a bridge out of recyclable items.

Working on her self portrait.

          Baby It's Cold Outside!
It's starting to get chilly here.  Good thing we have lots of cute coats and hats to stay bundled up with!

This girl thinks she hot stuff when she wears her new winter coat and hat!
