Easter 2014 (and the Tooth Fairy's First Visit!)

Easter 2014 was memorable!  Hailey lost her first tooth the day before, so we had a lot of visitors last night!  Hailey thought it was very funny that the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy were coming to her house on the same night!  The Tooth Fairy left her a necklace and a book and the Easter Bunny left them just about everything else in the toy store!  I will be the first to admit that that crazy bunny went a little overboard this year!  We spent Easter morning at church, celebrating our risen Lord (Alleluia!) and the rest of the afternoon hosting Easter lunch and hunting eggs.  It was a great day, with so many sweet memories that I wish I could wrap up and save forever.  Happy Easter!

Me and my Easter Bunnies.

Dying eggs!

Lots of pretty eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide!

"Hoppy" the Bunny found a girlfriend on his last day at our house!

The girls loved their Easter baskets from Gigi.

Hailey lost her first tooth on the day before Easter!

Putting her tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy.

The Tooth Fairy brought her a new Frozen book and a new talking Princess Sophia amulet.

Leaving a treat for the Easter Bunny!  (Hailey couldn't resist showing off her missing tooth!)

Waiting patiently for her sisters to wake up on Easter morning!

Time to go downstairs and see if the Easter Bunny came!

Ready of not, here they come!

Checking to see if the bunny ate his snack!

Looks like the Easter Bunny came!  Christmas in April?!  Hailey proudly told everyone that "We've been verrrry good this year!"

Typical "Lainey face" as she checks out her couch.

Hailey was very happy!
They love their princess tent and sleeping bags!  They played with them all day long!

Avery's first Easter basket.
Avery was very entertained by her big sisters' excitement!

Hunting eggs outside!  The girls hunted eggs for most of the afternoon!

Poogie can't resist snuggling with Baby Avery.

Happy Spring Chicks!

We have some pretty happy girls this week!  We took them on a family "adventure" to feed the ducks at U of R, Daddy took them swimming at the YMCA, Mommy took them to the Children's Museum, Gigi and Babu came over for a sleepover, they've played outside everyday in the gorgeous spring weather, they had egg hunts and Easter parties at school and the Easter Bunny comes in less than a week!

Mommy/Daddy date night in Charlottesville for a Darden Military Association dinner!

Since the pool isn't open yet, we decided to dust off the baby pool!  The girls were out there for hours!

Avery LOVES being outside!

She spends most of the time staring off at all of the new sights and sounds!

The girls are so happy for warm weather and nice fluffy grass!

Little Mommy, watching over her baby sister.

Avery and I finally got to go on our first stroller walk together around the neighborhood!!  She loved it!

Porch pic before preschool!

Last picture in front of the egg tree.  It now has so many leaves on it, you can't see the eggs anymore!!

Hailey loves pretending to be a "spring bee!"  She buzzes and flies around the house all day long in her old Halloween costume!

We went on a family walk to the University of Richmond to feed the ducks over the weekend.  It's not as easy as it used to be to take the girls for a walk, but we had so much fun with our "stroller parade of girls!"

We made Daddy push the big girls!

Hailey had no fear when it came to feeding the ducks and walked right up to them!

Lainey preferred to watch from a safer location!

Eventually she at least got out of the stroller long enough for me to snap a picture!

Duck feeding with Daddy.

Hailey brought home the "sharing bag" from preschool this week and decided to "share" her whiskers (aka stitches) with her class.  The kids were fascinated with them!

Making spring cupcakes!

The Easter Bunny sent his helper, "Hoppy" to our house to keep an eye on the girls before Easter.  They love finding him in all of his hiding spots each morning!

Avery is excited about her first Easter basket from the Easter Bunny!

Hailey and Owen at their preschool Egg Hunt.

The girls had so much fun at the Children's Museum!  We spent almost 4 hours there!!

Museum munchkins!

Avery was happy to get out of her stroller and roll around in the baby section!

Hailey must have rode the train 50 times!!

The girls spent an hour in the craft room and we brought home an entire grocery bag full of artwork!

Making Mommy dinner at their restaurant.

Time for dress up and a performance on the stage!

Hailey was in her element!  Definitely think we need to get this girl in some performing arts classes ASAP!

No trip to the Children's Museum is complete without a stop at the candy shop!
