Welcome Spring!

We had a great first week of Spring!  We're excited about warmer weather, longer days, outdoor play, tennis lessons, bunnies, flowers and lots of fun memories!

Silly little leprechauns!

St. Patrick's Day smiles~

Hailey was very proud of her St. Patrick's Day crafts!

The girls LOVED their cookie bouquet from Grandma and Grandpa!

Channeling her inner Irish with some rosy cheeks after playing in the snow!

Ready to play in the St. Patrick's Day snow!

Please, please, pretty please let this be the LAST snow picture I take in a loooong time!!!

FROZEN!!!  Ahhh!  Best St. Patrick's Day ever!!

Ready for a fairy princess birthday party at Maymont!

"Posing" for the camera...

....more posing...I especially love Lainey's pose!

Hailey had  so much fun on a carriage ride around Maymont!  She even saw real fairies on the tour!

Lainey chose to stay with Mommy and Avery and look for spring flowers.

Avery enjoyed chewing on the party favors!

Pink cake!!!

After the party, we drove by our old houses and then stopped by our "old" Kroger for some Easter candy!!

One thing is for sure, Avery is constantly entertained by her crazy big sisters!!!

And they sure do love her!!

Watching Frozen in a tent with Rima!

Ready for preschool!

Hailey had two big girl play dates this week.  She rode home with her friends Rose and Tabby after preschool and had a blast playing at their houses!  Yay for drop off playdates!!!  Hailey especially loved playing jewelry party with Tabby!

Lainey painted a beautiful purple sailboat picture in the purple room!

Working on her balancing skills in the preschool hallways!

Avery was especially happy to have some sisterly support during her 6 month checkup!

The girls never pass up a chance to visit the doctor!  They love it there!  They especially love the turtles!

It was chaotic with all three of them there though!  Dr. Nelson was very patient with us that day!!!

One of Hailey's many "selfies!" during Avery's checkup.

Avery is really starting to explore her tastebuds these days!  Some of her favorite foods are spinach & strawberries and squash & apples.

The best word to describe our Avery is YUMMY!  She is an absolute delight in every way.  She sleeps, eats, smiles, giggles, drools and makes our family complete.  I simply can't get over how GOOD she is!  She's so darn happy!  At 6 months old, Avery is also our biggest baby!  She's 17 pounds, 26 inches and is a solid 50% in all of her stats.

Poor Buggy flunked her preschool hearing exam this week so we were back at the pediatricians the following day for an evaluation.

After an hour of earwax removal, she passed the test with flying colors.  Unfortunately, she still doesn't listen to Mommy any better!

(This is what the doctor flushed out of her left ear!!)

We celebrated the first weekend of spring with a trip to Gigi and Babu's house!  The girls were ready to go!!

We love to show our St. Stephens school pride!
On our way to Williamsburg, we stopped by Daddy's work to see his new office!
The girls were so proud of all of their pictures that Daddy had on display!

Hailey loves all of Daddy's "trophies!"

Lainey was proud of Daddy for getting his very own office with his name on the door!
The trains are always a big hit when we visit Daddy's work!

A typical relaxing afternoon at Gigi and Babu's.

The girls enjoyed the warm weather by playing with their water table!

Lainey loves playing with Mommy's old Little People's at Gigi's house!

After many weekend trips to Yorktown and  lots of cleaning and renovating, we  finally put our old Yorktown love nest on the market.

It's been a love/hate relationship with this house over the past 8 years!

Playing with some easter eggs before Sunday school.

This is what my lazy Sunday afternoon looked like, and it was lovely!

My girls were very excited for the first day of Spring!!

The cutest little bunny I've ever seen!

Avery found the bunny ears much more entertaining on Sissy's head!

Lainey wanted to wear the bunny ears and was not happy about her flower headband!

Easter egg hunt!!

Best buds!

Dancing to Frozen!

Reading some Easter stories.

Spring weather means more trips to the playground....

....naps outside in the stroller...

...Cozy Coupe rides...

...and dirty faces!!...

...picnics in the wagon...

...and planting flowers!

Hailey loved making rainbows with the garden hose!

Welcome Spring!!!
