Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Over the past 72 hours, if the Kinard Family wasn't sleeping, we were in the water!  Bug's schedule over this Memorial Day weekend went a little like this:  wake up, go outside and play in her water table and baby pool.  Go to Westwood and play in the baby pool and have lunch.  Come home, take a nap, wake up and play in her water table have dinner and then take a long bath.  She is a fish!  We even had dinner with our neighbors and ended up bringing over her baby pool too!  Today, Memorial Day, was an exciting one at the club.  They had lots of food, balloon artists, contests, waterslides, bubble machines and Daddy even made out like a bandit in the beer dive!  (Yes, Westwood is a very classy establishment!)  Needless to say, we all had a blast and are now ready to sleep off our sunburns!  What a perfect way to kick off Summer 2012!

Playing in her water table.

Playing in her swimming pool.

A rare picture of the girls in matching suits.  The next day, Lulu wore her sister's size 3T suit and was much more comfortable.  Silly Mommy bought a size 12month bikini for a 12 month old baby.  Little did I know that my second baby would be a chunker!
Lulu, showing off her "curves."

Testing out her swimmies in the big pool with Daddy.
Lounging in the baby pool with Mommy.  (Pool day #1)

Splashing around with Daddy.  (Pool Day #2!)

Daddy and his girls.  Memorial Day 2012 (Pool Day #3!)

Watching the big kids slide down the water slide.

Lulu loves the water!

She also loved the balloon artist who had his station right behind us!

I not sure how she ended up with this hotdog, but she sure as heck wasn't about to let go of it!

Bug loves the hotdogs and chicken fingers at the club!

Running around in the bubbles with the big kids.  Daddy was out there with her at first, but she told him to "Go away Daddy!  Want to do it like a big girl!"  And so it begins!

She rules the pool!

Worn out and ready to take a long nap!

Worn out and wondering where she can get some more of those hotdogs!

Purple Room Graduate

I can't believe preschool is over!  Hailey graduated from the Purple Room today and I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've felt like crying all morning!  How is my sweet Buggy 3 years old already and how has she already completed an entire year of preschool?!   Bug had her end of the year class picnic yesterday and we tested out the baby pool at Westwood Club.  Now it's time to hurry up and relax.  Summer has officially begun!

Going "Donkey" one last time on her favorite playground during her end of the year picnic.

They asked that we pack a "bag lunch" for the preschool picnic.  Nuggets and fries come in a bag, right?!

Lulu spent most of the picnic sucking up to Miss Ann.  Just in case she ends up being in her class in a year or two!

Bubbles with her girlfriends.  Apparently, Lilly Pulitzer was the dresscode for this picnic!

Showing me the sprinkles that were on top of her cupcake (which were now in her mouth and on the way to her belly!)

Ms. Ann and Ms. Mary Beth.

Lulu loves to drink juice boxes!  She pounded two in a row during the picnic and an entire tub of watermelon!

She pulled this wagon around the entire playground at least three times!

Driving the firetruck with Owen.  The rosy cheeks and sweaty curly hair means that summer is officially here!

Hailey Grace, on her last day of preschool in the Purple room at St. Stephen's.

Playing with Lulu a little bit before preschool.

Lainey was very proud of her big sister and can't wait until she can go with her next year!

Yelling, "I be soooo excited!"

"Hi everybody!"

Hugs for Ann.

Hugs for her friend Sophie.

Excited to see Mommy at pickup time.

She is always sitting in either Ann or Mary Beth's lap when I pick her up!

Lulu enjoyed chillin' in the reading corner while Mommy and Hailey said bye to everybody.

Sitting in her empty cubby.

Showing me the bag of artwork that she made throughout the  year.

Trying out the baby pool at Westwood Club.

Lainey thought she was very entertaining.

Doing a silly dance because preschool is over!

No more teachers, no more books!.....

Never a Dull Moment!

In between all of the birthday parties and camping trips we had last week, the girls still managed to keep me super busy.  Between Lulu getting sick with Hand-Foot-Mouth, Bug being her usual energetic self and Lulu becoming VERY mobile, overnight, I've had my hands full.  But there isn't anything (or anyone!) cuter that I'd rather have my hands full with!!  With preschool ending this week, and now that the weather is getting warmer, this Mama can't wait for the long, lazy days of summer to spend snuggling with my girls!

My sweet girls.

Little Lulu, still gorgeous as ever.  Even with Hand Foot Mouth sores.  Aside from the occasional wimper or super long nap, you would have never guessed that Lulu was sick  She has to be the happiest, most content little baby on the planet!!

Look who's pulling up onto everything!

I'll take any excuse to hit up the Chick Fil A drive through.  Especially during Banana Pudding Milkshake season!  Lulu appreciated me sharing my cold shake with her to soothe her sore throat.

Daddy and Buggy don't look very happy with Dora and the My Little Pony during water play.  Someone must have been naughty!!

Daddy has become an expert at doll playing!

I love that Bug shares my same love of Haribo Gummy Bears!  They are like crack to me!

My nudie coach potato.  Watching Glee with mommy.

My little book worm.

The Richmond Police have declared our street their most recent speed trap.  For a whole week, they've been parked outside our house busting speeders.  It's been quite exciting to watch!

Lulu loves crawling into the bathroom during Buggy's bath time to visit and check things out!

Bug loves having a buddy to play with!

And Lulu loves the attention from  her big sister!

Admiring her entertaining big sis.

Chillin' at the Car Pool while Blanche gets cleaned.

Lunch date at Mickey D's with Daddy.

Lulu loves her some french fries.

Bug loves her some kisses from Daddy!
And I love the shopping carts at Target!  Shopping has become quite the challenge lately.  Bug is either standing in the basket while throwing things out of the cart or opening packages, pushing one of those tiny carts around while I try to hold Lainey and keep Hailey from running into people or displays, or running around the store like a donkey when she's supposed to be holding on to the side of the cart and walking along with me!

Playing with her new favorite toy from her friend Sophie!

Lulu has mastered the art of the sippy cup.  Bug has mastered the art of stealing the spotlight and getting attention at all times!

I  can't believe she's almost outgrown her Jungle Jumper!

Loving the fresh strawberries her sister picked at Joshua's birthday party on the farm!

Lulu's most recent trick is clapping.  If you say "clap" she will clap her hands and thinks it's the most entertaining thing ever!

Playing Barbies in the bathtub.

Bug's collection of masterpieces!

Lulu's new hair-do!

Bug, hanging out in her fort.

Daddy and his girls.

Lulu smiling.

Lulu clapping.

Lulu crawling.

Looks like it's time to start baby proofing!

Very proud of herself for climbing up the step.

Baby beauty shop.
Love them to pieces.
